    That’s a nifty idea – giving people points for opening emails etc.

    I must admit I’d never thought of it. Of course, enticing people to open emails is one thing, but getting them to read it is another.

    ‘Ethical bribes’ need to be backed up with solid copy/content, which should form a bedrock for all online, outbound campaigns.

      That’s why in many ways, it’s a whole lot easier and potentially
      profitable, to be successful, via mail order.
      Because, let’s face it, most people, will open a package,where, as you
      mentioned, they may open an email, but not necessarily read the contents.

      On the other hand, can you really image, a female not opening a gift wrapped box,
      from a brand named jeweler or designer shoe label!LOL!
