Three Incredibly Simple Reasons Why Your Business Isn’t As Productive As It And Should Be!Part Three

As you previously discovered in part two of this ongoing series about how and why your cash starved small business and or service is not currently as prosperous as it could and should be.

One of the primary reasons that your business is currently not nearly productive as it can or should, really has less to do with some local or national ordinance.

Or because you’re not nearly as active on social media as you should be. As was previously pointed out before, certainly, these are contributing factors to various degrees.

But by and large, it’s the things within your current (every day) control that are far more telling and (therefore) the deciding factors.

Case in point; entrepreneur, why do you constantly keep settling for marketing tactics and or strategies that basically offer a measly one to one return!

When you could and should be systematically generating 300 to 500% returns or more. Or investing both your extremely valuable time and resources that routinely yield returns of 3-5 times! And the following tried and true methods is one of the simplest ways of accomplishing this!

Introducing One Of The Most Common Reasons That Your Business, Product Or Service Is Not Currently As Productive As It Could Or Should Be!

My friend, if you really want to consistently experience and ultimately profit anywhere from 300 to 500% or more, from the very same content! Then you’d better start strategically re-purposing your extremely valuable content!

I realize the concept of re-purposing in and of itself, is certainly not new! However, the slant you’re about to discover, more than likely, probably is!

First of all, let’s lay out a rather simple hypothetical marketing re-purposing foundation. Because every bodies unique (different) and every bodies got their very own personal marketing preferences.

And personal strengths and weaknesses etc.So the following list is merely for sample marketing illustration purposes only! That said; let’s suppose you create an original blog post (article) that’s around 600 words long.

Then you also decide to record a series of three (or more!) “how to” instructional videos (that all include your all important CTA) “Call To Action” in them. Not wishing to stop there, you also record a series of five podcast recordings around the exact same subject as well.

And of course (if you haven’t already) you also add five or more additional email messages to your opt in email sequence of follow up messages.

First off, you do not, nor are you expected to finish of this inside of one or two days!

It may actually take a month or longer! Entrepreneur, the length of time it takes for you actually (A.) Finally get up enough courage to complete these projects! (B.) And then start strategically marketing them as well. Is irrelevant in the big picture! Say what? That’s correct!

And the reason being; first of all, your specific target market has no idea ‘how” long you may have been struggling with finding the courage to create these additional forms of marketing materials! Nor do they care! (Did you get that?) They could care less!

Provided, that your information scratches their itch! In other words, your information helps them solve their problem(s!)

Let Strategic Re-purposing Your Extremely Valuable Content Be The Springboard To Greater Opportunities!

So don’t (or stop!) literally beating yourself up over not feeling comfortable going in front of the camera (yet!) to record some type of  how to video, where you actually being seen! Or stop worrying (incessantly!) about “how” you think your recordings sound!

Your audience could care less! (Boy, what a freaking relief!) Anyway, after you f-i-n-a-l-l-y  complete these additional forms of 24/7 marketing assets. Let’s suppose you upload your podcast series and (low and behold) another extremely savvy profit seeking entrepreneurs uploads your series to their state of the art WordPress blog.

And as a result their audience starts sending them questions about your material! How cool is that? And the marketing wheels starts turning for this savvy marketer.

So they in turn reach out to you via email and or befriend you (first) on Facebook etc. And they explain not only what they’ve done for you in terms of sending you highly targeted free traffic!

And they ask to interview you about all the excellent follow up questions, your podcast series has generated from their audience. You agree, and of course they get your permission to record the interview (and or) series of interviews etc.

That ultimately leads to the two of you co-hosting a free 90 minute Q&A webinar and or Google Hangout etc.

And at he end of it, you offer your one on one personal consultations. And let’s say your normal hourly rates are $200 per hour or X! It really doesn’t matter what the actual rate is, it’s the concept that’s being conveyed here that’s really important!

Anyway, you offer all the live attendees that take advantage of your special “OTO” (One Time Only) offer price of 2 for 1! Meaning, when the pay your normal retail rate of $200 dollars PH, you’ll throw in an extra hour for free!

And that’s an additional $200 dollar value or X!) And since this other savvy entrepreneur help make this happen initially and helped you coordinate the webinar, Google Hangout and or Tele-seminar etc.

Structure Your Offers So Your Potential JV Partner Would Be Crazy To Say No!

You make them two basic joint venture (JV) /affiliate sales rep type of offer.

A.) If they only want a (measly) one time JV revenue split and nothing more! You’ll gladly give them 25% of your gross revenues generated from the actual live event!

B.) Or, if they’re really a savvy profit seeking entrepreneur! Here’s what you’d much prefer they do! First, if they’ll personally introduce you t at least three other non competitive potential JV partners, so that you make propose this same basic offer, you’ll glad revenue split 50% of your front end initial gross profits!

(But wait! It gets even better!) Plus, you’ll gladly let them have 100% resell rights to the recordings! Provided they agree (in writing!) not to sell the 90 minute webinar and or Google Hangout for more than $37 dollars or X!

And they can also create their very own affiliate program selling your recording and keep at least 50% of all (if any!) of the affiliate sales, their affiliate team ever generates!

And as for you. How do you make out as a result of your tremendous entrepreneurial generosity? Well, every time one of those podcasts or webinar gets in the hands of another prospect. You’re that much closer to another -first time- paying (and hopefully repeat) customer and or client!

Don’t you agree? That’s how and why re-purposing your extremely valuable content, will make your business and or service far more productive and therefore profitable!

  1. Mark amazing article and to the point.

Building a presents and adding quality on social media locations is a needed practice. I read so many blogs each week and love it. They all are speaking of lack of time to add value anywhere. Not just on social media. That makes me laugh.

I have the solution and it has nothing to do with spending money on stuff. May I suggest readers here and other locations. Try to write things down and follow the steps you visualize. Slow down on over thinking stuff.

One thing we have is time. How you manage it is the key. No one doesn’t have time? It is something that is continuous? You have to keep up with your own schedule. If you do not get it done today. There is always tomorrow.

Thanks Mark for opening this door. I love seeing through your eyes per say. Not always agreeing. That is what life is all about. Learning from others and seeing things based on their perception. Then, having the honesty to share yours on the same subject. There is never just one way to accomplish the same end result. That alone is value.

    • Thank you for your wonderful words of encouragement William!

And I agree with you, it’s all about effective time management
      and consistently adding value!

Wonderfully stated and said my friend!

Do that and the rest just seems to follow! thanks as always fo adding to the
conversation and for your continuous support!

      I truly appreciate both!

  2. HI Mark,

  3. Hi Mark,

As usual, you shared a lot of helpful information with us.

There are two main ways I have been repurposing content lately: (1) by taking a tip or point from the post to on my social media accounts as updates. (2) by turning the tips or main points into a presentation slide, and sometimes even creating a webinar from them.

    Thanks!
