As you previously discovered in part one of this series, about “how to” effectively and proactively use low cost, high impact “newsletters” in order to make more money!
Ladies & gentlemen, it simply cannot be stressed enough. You and I do not have to try and become newsletter publishers, on top of everything else, you’ve currently got going on! No way!
Because more than likely, you don’t have the additional time and or interest. Instead, why not strategically leverage what another savvy (non competing) entrepreneur is doing. So that everybody -ultimately- benefits! Case in point….
Three More Incredibly Profitable Ways That Newsletters Can And Will Make You More Money!
Entrepreneur, first stop and consider “what’s” really at stake for your typical newsletter publisher, (especially) the offline ones.
If you (or I), never approach them about any type of joint venture arrangement. They’re still on the hook for all the cost associated with periodically publishing some type of offline physical newsletter.
That said, consider these three viable money making options and advantages of marketing via newsletters.
Whether you or I personally publish the newsletter ourselves or not.
1.) Potential benefit # one: You can and should inexpensively test running some type of contest, where you make a list of (maybe) twenty five potential subjects to create all types of content around.
Ask your audience to try and pick which subjects are the ten most popular! Give everybody that participates, a free month trial subscription extension to (either) your or another JV partners newsletter!
But going forward, after you tally the count. You’ll know exactly which are your top ten most popular subjects and or niches to concentrate on. Bingo!
If you sell display advertising in your offline newsletter, you could do a really powerful affiliate type of advertising JV. Let your non compete JV partner offer (or giveaway) your free three month trial subscriptions to his customer/client base as (either) Xmas gifts or “buddy plan” gifts, for them to give away to friends & colleagues etc.
And for everyone that upgrades to at least a full paid twelve month subscription, give your affiliate JV partner (25-40%) credit towards their advertising costs! Hello! Think about it!
Now they have a really good reason to proactively help you market your newsletter and vice versa!
3.) Potential benefit # three: If you happen to offer any type of paid one on one individual or group power consulting plans. You could offer every subscriber that pre pays for at least a one year subscription, special discounted rates of X% off your normal hourly consulting -or monthly maintenance plan- rates, in exchange for paying for their subscription in advance.
Provided, they pay by either cash, credit card or money orders only! Or as a slight variation, you can give them X% off their next three paid consultations.
Entrepreneur, no matter “how” slice it up. You can and will increase your profits, by adding newsletters to your long term marketing mix. Don’t you agree?
