So think about the all too common situation, you find yourself in. With regards, to strategically marketing, your single location, non franchised, family orientated bakery business.
Obviously you don’t have direct, nor indirect access, to any type of massive,corporate advertising campaign and or promotion,correct? And like most, local non franchised, single location, family orientated bakers.
You also, don’t currently have, your own state of the art, WordPress website, correct? And still no plans of getting one anytime soon. Correct? Nor do you have, your very own state of the art, paid email service provider. of any kind.
And even though you’re not directly benefiting from having your very own, opt in email and or mobile marketing list.
But guess what you do currently have direct access to? Which is a potential, major untapped resource for you and or your major competitors..
Strategically Leveraging Other Non Directly Competing Vendors Assets And Or Resources Is A Proven Marketing Strategy!
You know that very successful, top earning, commercial real estate broker customer of yours? Yea that one.
She comes in, at least twice a month, like clock work. And she usually purchases, two dozen donuts,and five Xtra large coffees, for her companies Monday or Thursday morning meetings.
And hopefully you do realize, she and another staff member, also does corporate leasing, in the building her main office is currently located in, right? This being the case.
Here’s what you propose they do. Going forward, if both she and her entire staff, which handles both, the corporate leasing, and whenever she or her agents, show a potential client, a potential building or commercial office space for lease. All they need to do, is hand the potential customer or potential leasing client.
One of your extremely time sensitive, discount coupons. Where they automatically save 40 (or X%) off any purchase over $20 dollars and 10% of any purchase under $20 dollars.(Some strategic price testing will help you quickly determine, which initial price and bonus combinations, consistently generate the overall best responses.)
Remember The Real Long Term Term Profits Lies In First Time Customers Systematically Being Converted Into Long Term Repeat Customers And Or Repeat Clients!
Once you get a general idea, of (on average), what percentage, of first time customers,typically convert into, repeat customers. Let’s say it’s typically 30% of every 100 first time customers.
At least 30 of them, will start making all types of repeat purchases.Now you make sure, you offer some type of attractive incentive, for your commercial broker and staff, to continuously pass out or giveaway, some of your very best, market tested discount coupons.
To both their current and future customers. Because those customers, and their immediate, professional and personal inner circles, have birthdays, wedding anniversaries.
They have kids or grand kids with birthdays, do they not? Are you starting to smell, the potential, long term marketing possibilities? Let’s hope so.And hopefully you are finally starting to appreciate, how some really cheap advertising ideas and or marketing strategies, can and will.
