This Is Why Trying To Implement Your Advertising Ideas Can Be Outrageously Expensive!

 (Even If It Does Ultimately Produce Some Bankable Results!)

Okay, so you’ve finally come around, correct?

Meaning, you know after throwing away a ton of money, month after month, on certain types of outrageously expensive advertising and or promotional campaigns.

Certain approaches, simply will not work, nor were they ever originally designed for, semi cash strapped, small business owners,service providers and or aspiring entrepreneurs, correct?

Big congrats on finally seeing the light. However, going forward, you definitely need to at least partially understand why, if you ‘re going to try to and make (so called) traditional advertising work.

The main reason why, doing so makes successfully implementing your primary advertising ideas and or strategies, so outrageously expensive.

Is because, before you can start consistently cashing in with them, to any certain degree. A ton of ongoing preliminary (testing of some kind), has got to become an integral part of the process.

Otherwise you may as well head to the nearest casino and try your luck there.

So Why Is It So Potentially Expensive To Advertise Your Business And Or Service Using Traditional Methods And Or Strategies!

Right out of the gate. Whenever you attempt to use any of outsource advertising companies and or services.

They typically have to initially charge you a pretty penny, just to create the initial concept. And the creative individual who work for these type of companies, (sadly), more times than not.

They pride themselves, on how creative and artsy they can make your ads and or promotions.And place virtually no real value whatsoever, on how much bankable results, their campaigns produce. Say what?  😀

Nod you head cadets, because sadly it’s definitely true.

Next, after their initial creative, (typically) non profitable masterpiece has been created. Now you are expected to continuously fund (advertise), this bank account draining loser.

And you’re told to keep continuously doing so, while or as the campaign builds supposedly your image. Does this rather lame advice sound all too frighteningly familiar?  😀  I thought it might.

Even Some Really Simple Adverting Ideas And Or Tactics Can Quickly Become Rather Expensive!

So after you’ve funded a few of these mega cash drainers, and lost a ton of money. You at least partially come to your senses, right?  😀

And you realize, if you don’t change directions and or strategies pretty quickly. You’re definitely headed towards bankruptcy at warp speed.  😀

And here’s just a partial laundry list of reasons why. First of all, if you’re constantly paying for, outrageously expensive prime time, local radio and or TV ads.

Typically about 99% of those being exposed to your ads, have no interest whatsoever, in what you’re promoting!

They’re just being exposed to your ad, because (they’re) either watching traditional network TV. Or they’re listening to commercial radio.

Proven Small Business Advertising Ideas Definitely Give You An Advantage But You Still Incur Certain Unavoidable Costs Along The Way!

Let’s face it already. If you’re running any type of paid advertising of any kind. But especially any type of print ad. Be it a banner ad, opt in email or text message.

Or an offline snail mail post card,(or a long form sales letter) a flyer, business card. A tweet or series of tweets. Or a sign or newspapers, solo ads or inserts etc.

And at some point along the way,if you’re not consistently A/B split testing, your main power headlines.

Or your P.S or the bullet points etc. Or you’re not pro-actively A/B split testing the background color on your main sales or lead capture page(s) etc.

You may as well head to Vegas, and spin the wheel. Because if you don’t really know which P.S and or “buy now”, or sign up button, and the text written on it consistently produces the best responses.

Or which approach when you and your professionally trained staff, (either) initially answers the phone, or which “bounce back” offer, after an in store or direct mail purchase, consistently produces the best overall response rates.

You’re definitely gambling with the future health of your business and or service.Because you can’t simply throw together an offline, direct snail mail post card campaign.

Mail it out and presume you’re done. Otherwise you most certainly will be very shortly.  😀 Instead, as was previously disclosed.

You’ve got to be pro-active and test different key elements of the mailing. And this of course, takes both time and money, does it not.

Whenever You Can Implement Some Proven Direct Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics!

Plus, on top of all of these ongoing, upfront expenses.Once you create your ad/promotional campaign.

On average, it will take anywhere from 10-14 exposures, before the general public even begins to notice and or acknowledge your ads. This is why your ongoing costs quickly add up.

Here’s a crash course example, of how you can get your advertising and or promotional budget, to be at least 300-500% more effective. Both in the short and long term.

Let’s say you’re a retail jeweler, with a single location. And you send an extremely time sensitive,unscheduled ‘broadcast’ email alert, to your 2,500 VIP subscribers.

And 30% open your email. ( 2,500 x .30 = 750) And of those 750 subscribers, another 30% of them, (225) not only open your email.

You know they’ll be constantly posting on social media, correct? Plus, they’ll share their story often, to whomever will listen, right? For sure.

So you’ll be creating some long term marketing buzz, for literally pennies on the dollar. Otherwise, what’s the alternative? Exactly

Keep paying for outrageously expensive advertising and or promotions, trying to convert ice cold traffic (potential customers), into red hot first time buyers.
