Okay there are definitely some legitimate situations where your working capital gets tight, correct? (Or is it only me whose occasionally been there? 😎 When these inevitable situations occur.
It’s always good to know some form of entrepreneurial bootstrap marketing strategies & tactics, definitely still makes sense. Don’t you agree?
Truth told entrepreneur. This particular blog post is intended to shatter your totally lame excuses about not being able to make a real go of things online.
Just because you don’t or didn’t initially start out with fortune 500 backing? It’s definitely not a crime to start out financially challenged, right?
The Internet Is Tailored Made For Practical Creative Entrepreneurial Ideas! (Like The Ones You Specialize In Or Used To Specialize In!)
Let’s be brutally honest right up front. Provided you have either the practical knowledge, bankable skills or extremely deep pockets to begin with.
Take a look at this sample landing/lead capture page. It’s for a make believe consulting firm. Here’s why I’m sharing it with you. It was created in under 30 minutes.
Using Aweber, my current paid email service provider of choice-s, built in landing page software. And I (just like you can!) Used their not exactly robust landing page software,
Sure I could just as easily built this or any other sample landing page using a far more robust, paid – upscale software program. But if I did.
At least some of you would scream at the top of your lungs. Your money is really tight right now. 😎 And therefore you can’t afford paid – upscale software program X or Y.
Having A Professional Looking Landing Page Or Lead Capture Form Is An Excellent Start!
I purposedly used one of Awebers ready made templates in order to save time. The template also came with a relevant Youtube video already embedded in it.
And the two sample, (totally made up!) testimonials. They came with the template. 😎 I just made up their comments myself. Strictly for marketing illustration purposes only.
And one of the other images also came with the template. And the other I got off a popular royalty free website. 😀 And I also wrote the bullet points in less than 5 minutes too.
I order to (hopefully!) demonstrate to you. Just “how” potentially viable and profitable strategic bootstrapping can be or quickly become.
It’s Definitely Not About How Deep Your Corporate Pockets Are Initially!
And your ideal prospects or customers will not be or become overly concerned about “which” particular software program was used to create it.
Provided you or your major competitors are helping your target audience solve or address their major challenges or most pressing issues etc.
Hey, nobodies saying once you start out with a far less robust landing page software. You can’t or shouldn’t upgrade. my primary point is. Not initially having deep pockets doesn’t have to prevent you from moving off center in a major way.
As you and I learn more and continuously develop our primary bankable skills. You can get as fancy as you wish to. But in the initial beginning. Don’t let your lack of money or perceived lack of this or that.
Prevent you from utilizing the various resources or connections and contacts you already have direct or indirect access to.
Entrepreneur Make It Your Business To Start Serving And Over Delivering Value To Your Target Audience!
Think about that local, non franchised floral shop, gourmet coffee shop, dance or yoga studio, one or two person start up CPA firm. Or what about that non franchised auto body shop. Or that incredibly popular lady who sells her homemade jewelry and other crafts at local flea markets.
How many of them do you think would love to have a fully functional, customized, stand alone landing page or sign up form on their ecommerce site or self hosted WordPress blog?
But they think of have been led to believe. They need a fancy landing page or sign up form, which costs anywhere from $2K – $5K. Aweber currently offers their new customers.
The ability to open an account for free. Until your opt in subscriber base reaches 500. And even though you can only create one list to begin with. As long as your account is free.
And you obviously don’t get access to all of the other fancy bells & whistles. Until you or your major competitors start paying for the service. 😀
Having your own list of 367 or X number of opt in subscribers. You can either:
1.) Periodically send them offers to your awesome products or services.
2.) As well as periodically send your subscribers offers to affiliate products & services. Including higher end affiliate products & services.
A Responsive Lists Beats Having A Huge List Of Nothing More Than Perpetual Freebie Seekers!
You or your major competitors could also periodically send out emails helping your VIP customers sell their time share, primary residence or investment property.
Imagine what will happen to you or your major competitors positive, viral word of mouth and mouse buzz. When word gets out. They helped their customer(s) sell their primary home or business. and literally save thousands of dollars in Realtor commissions. Just by sending a single or a few emails to their list. 😀
Entrepreneur are you starting to see and appreciate the long term profit generating potential of certain types of bootstrap marketing? Well get to it already.
