(And even though I’ll be using a high end men’s clothing store for this particular example. Ladies these mega proven, non traditional marketing strategies and tactics. Could be as equally profitable for and to you as well. )
So let’s say strictly the sake of convenience. You or one of your main local competitors have a popular men’s clothing store. Located in a popular mini strip mall.
Which just also happens to have an extremely popular dry cleaners located in it as well. (Hopefully you can kinda of see where I’m going with this particular example, correct? 😀
The Moment You And Or Your Major Competitors Discover Some Proven Lead Generation Strategies And Tactics! (You’re In The Position To Strategically Take Things To The Very Next Level Or Two!)
As always strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Suppose either the extremely marketing savvy dry cleaner owner(s.) Or you or your major men (or women’s!) Clothing store owner(.)
At least inexpensively tested the following, non traditional promotional strategies and tactics. First, you offer the owner(s) and current or future employees.
Laminated lifetime discount cards. Which they save X% off every order. (With absolutely no minimum purchase requirements!)
This way they’re 1o or X times more likely to constantly refer you or your major competitors new business. Don’t you agree? 😀 That’s one of your very 1st steps.
Next you allow them to ethically bribe their very best customers. Who spend a minimum of X number of dollars. They get an extremely time sensitive discount coupon. Where they can either save X% off their very 1st order.
Or simply for joining you or your major competitors opt in email list. They’ll periodically get extremely time sensitive discount coupons from either you and or your major competitors.
And for an extremely limited time. They can can save X% off their next three or X number of purchases. Entrepreneur can you say ongoing positive word of mouth and mouse power tsunami? 😀
Your Next Few Marketing Steps Definitely Don’t Have To Be Major Breakthrough Events! (As Long As You Consistently Apply The Proven Fundamentals!)
So a local man or women spends at least X at a local rather high end clothing or shoe store. And the extremely high end store owner(s) ethically bribe them for doing so. The customer gets to save money at you or major competitors dry cleaners store.
And if you’re building an opt in email list. You test offering the a saving percentage of X. For al non subscriber first time customers.
But they save X plus simply for joining your list and remaining an active subscriber. (Ladies and gentlemen it may not be totally obvious to you just yet! But there is a potentially valuable marketing strategy staring you in the face!)
Which you may not currently see. But it’s definitely worth inexpensively testing. Just saying! 😀 Are you starting to better appreciate “why” simply increasing your traditional adverting costs is potentially way too expensive?
