This Is Why Literally Starting From Scratch Can Be Extremely Hard!
(Or Extremely Profitable!)
Sure it sounds incredibly sexy when it works. For the small one to five % or less who are able to financially stick it out. But for the remaining 95 or X% of us who aren’t able to.
Ladies & gentlemen. Please make no mistake about it. Attempting to build or scale a business or service of any kind. Literally starting from scratch. can either be extremely hard.
And will probably ultimately lead to some major burnout. Or you can attempt to make it sort of easy on yourself. By systematically building and constantly leveraging different types of potentially profitable relationships. Sound like a plan you’d definitely like to hear more about?
Successfully Growing A Small Business Or Service Definitely Isn’t Rocket Science!
Take a look at the featured image with this particular blog post. Notice the extremely hard working entrepreneur manually flattening her dough? Who knows “how” much continuous physical effort she or you will have to put into accomplishing her goal.
It’s the same in being a successful entrepreneur. Because without an already established network of capable experts to systematically tap into. You and I have to constantly rely on what you/we already have direct access to.
And in most cases. Especially in the very beginning of your entrepreneurial journey. It’s your credit. Your readily available cash. Your real world experience(s.) And or lack thereof.
Your assets and or resources etc.
And like it or not. It’s definitely gonna take time to dial your ads in. And while you or your major competitors are attempting to do so.
Take the example hypothetical marketing example. Which is strictly for illustration purposes only. A cashless investor. Attempts to purchase a residential property of some kind. Strictly for investment purposes.
(Meaning they have no immediate plans to live in/occupy the property.) But they lack the necessary cash, credit or both in order to close the transaction.
So they reach out to a cash rich investor. And offer them a reasonable return on their cash investment. Which might also include a share of the potential long term gross profit percentage payout too.
Why In The World Would Someone With Real World Experience Partner With A Complete Inexperienced Newbie In Any Field?
In most cases they probably would not. Put yourself in the shoes of someone with at least $500K in available cash. Would you be more inclined to partner or finance a potential real estate investment deal of some kind.
Which requires at $100 dollars cash. (Or the use of your personal or business credit.) And the person preposing the partnership. Not only has little or no real world experience of any kind.
But they also have little or no money of their own to invest in the projects too. 😀 Which means at most the very best they can offer at this particular time. Is some virtually untested theory.
Which they can’t point to any real world accomplishments. In order to help further solidify their on or offline cred.
The Very Next Level Of Your Entrepreneurial Journey Is To Start Establishing Your Real World Street Cred!
Meaning, if need be. Start off small initially. Get your feet wet by getting a few small deals closed first. Which require less assistance from big investors.
Generate a proven track record. Then gradually attempt to attract larger and larger potential investors. For the online world. Initially target and laser focus on being a frequent podcast guest on the smaller relevant podcast first.
Get your feet wet first. Build some potentially bankable momentum in the right direction. This way you can point to some past successes.
Then gradually attempt to either be a podcast guest or guest blogger on the more established blogs or podcast. With influential bloggers who routinely generate tens of thousands. Or hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors.
or highly influential podcasters, who consistently generate tens or hundreds of thousands of downloads per episode. (Like the mega popular “SharkPreneur” podcast I was fortunate enough to be a guest on. :-D)
Stop Trying To Leap Frog To The Top Without Establishing Yourself To Some Degree Or Another First!
You don’t have to make outrageously claims. Or to try and create some totally bogus narrative. Just be authentically you. And keep systematically building from there!
Entrepreneur are you finally starting to appreciate “why” literally starting from scratch. Can either be extremely hard. Or potentially profitable. Don’t you agree?
You Can Definitely Grow Or Scale A Whole Lot Faster! (Simply By Helping Other Non Directly Competing Vendors Do The Same!)
