Think about a local retailer which sells outrageously popular and affordable baby cribs. Which means they’re probably active on social media to some degree or another, right?
Maybe they have an extremely active Instagram or FB or both. So it’s also not a stretch they or at least a few of their offline local competitors. Are also systematically building their own opt in email list too.
So “what” do you think a large or sizeable amount of the local female visitors to their stores will do. When they see a chance to enter a free monthly or quarterly drawing.
For a chance to win a state of the art, extremely high end baby crib. Which typically retails in the $1,500- $2,250 dollar range.
Give Your Best Prospects And Customers A Legitimate Reason To Join Your Email List! (Or Your Major Competitors Will!)
So imagine the potential avalanche of local women flooding into this extremely marketing savvy retailers store. Because even though they’re runner ups in the monthly or quarterly free drawing.
But they’re ethically bribed to drag an other local female with them. Whose at least 18. Before the ten or X day expiration date window expires completely worthless.
So you know a certain percentage of these subscribers will definitely drag a local or two with them, right? 😀 And this is how and where an extremely marketing savvy women’s cosmetic distributor can leverage this all too common situation. How you so skeptically ask?
By setting up a portable booth inside the retailer(s) store(s.) And lightly spraying one or two of their or your most popular fragrances throughout the store. 😀
As well as in the ladies public and female bathrooms. As well as in or near the most popular aisle’s in each or a single store.
Systematically Create An Avalanche Of Curiosity!
The reason for the portable booth inside the store. Is so your big neon sign informs the daily foot traffic. Every customer who spends a bare bones minimum of X. They automatically win a free 32 oz. sample of their choice.
(While supplies last of course. 😎 And every customer who spends at least X. They automatically get a free 64 oz. fragrance of their choice.
And the same courtesy is automatically extended to the guests. As long as they too join you or your major competitors guest. Before they leave you or your major competitors store that day.
And of course, in order to properly top things off. Every female employee. Or if at least one of the owners is female. The female employees. Regardless of whether they’re currently employed full or part time.
So you know when they, (meaning both the owner(s) as well as their employees) interact with their besties, neighbors, in- laws or siblings on multiple occasions etc. They’ll eagerly spread the news both on and off of social media , correct? Plus they’ll sell some 32 or 64 oz. fragrances in the store.
At x% above their actual hard cost. And as long as they generate X number of opt in subscribers per time they set up an instore booth. They’ll gladly let the retailer keep 50-80% or more of the initial front end gross profit above their hard cost.
Because they’ll eagerly pocket 100% of the long term back end gross profits. Ladies & gentlemen are you now starting to appreciate what makes certain types of smart marketing strategies & tactics. So potentially profitable?
