Think Direct Marketing: If You’re Really Serious About Out Promoting Your Big Buck Competition!Part Three

Hopefully now you can appreciate why you definitely need to think direct marketing first and foremost correct?

In the remainder of part two, you will discover at least three more potentially profitable ways  to literally grow your business, especially if you’re on a shoestring budget.

Remember, far too many otherwise extremely savvy small business owners and or service providers, completely drop the ball, when it comes to strategically marketing their business.

They’re content to pay retail cost to generate those all too important first time customers and or clients. And that outrageously expensive  approach is one of the main factors  that consistently eventually drives a staggering 88% of them out of business within five years or less.

Think Direct Marketing And Watch A World Of Possibilities Open Up To You!

Here’s one of the main ways the savvy gourmet coffee retailer will strategically create powerful on or offline positive word of mouth or mouse buzz. As you recall from part one, the coffee retailer is going supply the local printer with a free 5 LB bag of gourmet coffee of their choice, for both the office and their home.

In exchange for the printers video testimonial! Plus, at least two days a week, (preferably) two of the printers traditionally slowest days. They will supply the printer with a free 5 LB bag of gourmet coffee ,donuts and pastries, so they can pass them out to their customers.

But here’s the other thing, the coffee retailer will also have two sided business cards right on the table with the coffee. And side B of the card says “because you are an extremely valued customer of printing company X, you are entitled to a 5 LB gourmet bag of coffee for 50% off! (Small business owners and service providers only!

All others still save 25% off your first purchase! But you must hurry because this exclusive offer is extremely limited!) Once those small business owners/service providers bring the business card to the coffee retailers offline store, to save 50% off their first (and hopefully) not last purchase.

That’s when the savvy retailer will spring into full f ledge marketing mode. Huh? They’ll offer the small business owner the option of getting free gourmet coffee to use at home, in exchange  for a video testimonial. Plus sell them a 10 LB bag of gourmet coffee at the retailers actual cost, to use at the office.

And this way each small business owners work force (and their friends and family etc.) inexpensively gets exposed to this great tasting upscale gourmet coffee for a song! They’ll gladly sing the retailers praises high & low! And as long as they join the retailers opt in email list, they get will also receive VIP opt in email special alerts on new flavors and other special private tasting events etc!

It’s Far Cheaper To Market Than Advertise!

Meaning- before they introduce the general public to any new flavors! they’ll either snail mail, opt in email and or text message these special subscribers!

(You think those java drinkers will have a problem joining the retailers list!) Within one year, that savvy gourmet coffee retailer should be quietly building a reliable army of happy customers-don’t you agree-, that both on and offline are busily spreading the word!

Now contrast this incredibly simple yet effective approach, to their competitors, who spending a fortune, trying desperately to build a customer base.

Let’s say neither approach works. Meaning- constantly spending a fortune on outrageously expensive ads or this non traditional marketing stuff!

Which one approach do you think is the least expensive? Right! And that my friend, is definitely why you wanna think direct marketing strategies. Don’t you agree?
