Mass marketing  (Just Make Darn Sure You’re Constantly Using The Right Kind!)

Take your pick ladies & gentlemen. You and I can go to any major city in the world. And just like the featured image with this particular post.

You see vivid examples of companies who continuously spend massive amounts of money. On outrageously expensive, traditional ad /promotional campaigns.

Which unfortunately for the most part. Are not only hopelessly untargeted. (As if that  bad isn’t enough. 😎 But this type of one dimensional promoting. Offers virtually no leverage of any kind.

Which is why I try and steer both my ideal prospects and paying customers. And of course long term repeat clients away from. Any type of traditional mass marketing or mass advertising campaigns. Any questions?

All Marketing Exposure Is Not Automatically Good Or Profitable Marketing Exposure!

In the case of the featured image with this particular blog post. And of course these particular example(s.) Are being used strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.

Let’s say your company successfully markets, (not manufactures!) The sunglasses the female model is wearing in the large billboard style promotion. First of all. Just depending how large of a city this particular billboard is in.

And what geographical location(s) they’re placed in too. Their cost is and probably do range from very to outrageously expensive, agreed? 😀

But rather than constantly waste that type of capital. A far more savvy and therefore strategic approach.

Let’s Talk About Strategically Building Brand Visibility!

Fellow profit seeking entrepreneur(s.) Please take a much closer look at the store front located directly below the one dimensional billboard.

(While I’m not totally sure what type of storefront it actually is. 😀 ) Let’s say it’s an upscale women’s clothing store. It would definitely makes sense to. Form some type of successful Joint Ventures (JV) revenue sharing arrangements.

With several of the top local women’s, shoes stores, nail & hair salons. The top local women’s clothing stores. And at least strategically test the following low cost marketing/promoting strategies and tactics.

First of all, start off by having at least a few of your top female employee/associates. To become high end and regular customers of the above mentioned businesses or service providers.

Because doing so definitely helps grease the wheels for the strategies about to come. 😎

Sometimes The Largest Trees Initially Sprout From The Tiniest Acorns!

Case in point. After or not long after some of you and or your major competitors top female sales reps. And or top female associates become regular or high end customers. Of several of the previously mentioned local businesses or service providers.

And of course they go in wearing a pair of your extremely high end, best selling designer sunglasses. 😀 The moment they get compliments on them.

They immediately hand those, (in all likelihood!) Ladies one of your extremely time sensitive, one or two sided index cards.

Side “A” invites them to join your opt in email list. For their chance to be entered into your monthly or quarterly free drawing. For their chance to win. (Get this fellow profit seeking entrepreneur! 😎

One pair of high end designer sunglasses. Which retails for between $75 – $90 dollars a pair. (Say what?) Plus one 64 oz. bottle of mid level perfume of their choice. (While supplies last. 😀 )

Ans side “B” invites the recipient to your local store. They come alone. And they can save 10 or % off their total purchases. (In other words. Some relatively low, non exciting savings percentage. 😎

And Now You Can Start Strategically Leveraging Your Best Customers Personal And Professional Networks!

However, simply for dragging a friend with them. Whose at least 18. They can buy their first pair of extremely high end designer sunglasses at you and or your major competitors actual hard costs.

And a 2nd pair of high end designer sunglasses for 30 or X% off. And provided your guests also joins you and or your major competitors opt in email list before they leave the store. 😀

They get to buy at least one pair of designer sunglasses and save 30 or X% off the current retail price. So you know there will definitely be a ton of positive word of mouth and mouse buzz going on, right?
