Ladies & gentlemen how many of you recognize the name Dave Del Dotto? Back during the early to mid 80’s. Up into the mid 90’s. Basically the pre- to beginning internet marketing era.
Dave was without question. One of America’s most successful “Nothing Down/Creative Financing” real estate investment gurus. He published a mega successful book. And his publishing/information marketing business.
Also sold a ton of his outrageously popular home study course. Titled the “Cash Flow System.” Usually for $297 dollars. By way of his popular night night/early morning 30 – 60 minute infomercials.
But he and his expert publishing team were also master marketers in general. Partially because he fully embraced at least strategically testing some type of potentially profitable, creative marketing ideas and or tactics. Shouldn’t you too?
Entrepreneur Now’s Definitely The Perfect Time For At Least Testing Some Type Of Tactical Marketing Plan!
As always ladies & gentlemen. The following hypothetical marketing examples. Are strictly for illustration purposes only. Imagine this brain dead simple strategy. For an incredibly successful and outrageously popular entrepreneur like Dave Del Dotto. To either approach another non directly competing vendor with. (Or vice versa.)
back in Dave’s real hey day. Both Dave and the vast majority of his most successful contemporaries.
They would heavily promote their free 90 – 120 minute introductory workshops across America. And either sell their popular home study courses or 3 – 5 day “Real Estate Wealth” creation boot camps on the long term back end of their most profitable sales funnels.
Take a look at this short video clip from one of Dave’s jammed packed free introductory workshops from back in the day. (Please take notice of how long it actually takes him to trot up to the stage. Giving you And I an indication of how many people are in attendance! :-D)
And these extremely large crowds were most of the time. As far as Dave’s undeniable popularity was concerned.
Remember Entrepreneur The Initial Front End Of Your Sales Funnel Really Is Just The Very Beginning!
Keep in mind back in Dave’s real hey day. Both he and his personally trained sales reps. Who also presented his free 90 – 120 minute free introductory workshops all over America.
Would typically average 1,000 locals to his popular intro events. And typically sell about 30% of those in attendance. His popular $297 dollar “Cash Flow System.” (So he’s gross at least $89,100 per live introductory workshops. (300 x $297 dollars = $$89,100)
And of the 300 who purchased the “Cash Flow System.” On average about 5% of those 300 will also pay to attend one of his $5,000 or X thousand dollar 3 to 5 day “Real Estate Wealth Creation” boot camp events. So that typically equals an additional $75,000 dollars.) (15 x $5,000 dollars each = $75,000 dollars.)
But here’s another additional, potentially profitable back end mega profit center opportunity. Dave and his sales reps will ethically bribe each local attendee with the following offer.
This Is Called Strategically Taking Things To The Very Next Level Or Two!
Since Dave and possibly many of his most successful contemporaries. Will make the attendees aware. Simply for filling out one of his best, market tested free three month trial subscription newsletter forms.
Before they leave the live introductory event. (Keep in mind, back during Dave’s real hey day. Profitable Internet marketing was really just getting started. And opt in email was not really available to Dave and his most successful contemporaries.
Anyway, every attendee who not only properly fills out Dave’s free 3 month trial membership cards.
They automatically go into another free drawing. Where two guaranteed 1st grand prize winners. One male & one female. Will both each win one of Dave’s outrageously popular, $297 dollar “Cash Flow System.”
