Hopefully you’ve had enough of simply throwing your hard money away on various outrageously expensive (traditional) advertising techniques, that do little more than separating you from your(not so long) corporate money, correct?
And now after getting exposed to some of the far more effective (think outside the box type of) non traditional advertising techniques that you’ve been exposed to in parts one and two of this particular series, thus far. You’re a little more receptive to embracing them.At least by inexpensively testing and tweaking them, before you totally dismiss their long term profitability potential! That said; let’s dive even deeper!
How To Make Darn Sure That The Advertising Techniques You Implement Get The Job Done!
Just to recap and creatively explore one of the potential techniques that was previously mentioned in part two. After this extremely savvy jeweler found a local golf pro instructor,(or two) that was currently employed at one of the most popular local country clubs.
And the jeweler has given (both) the golf pro & their spouse or significant other matching his & her Rolex watches at the jewelers actual cost! Plus, just for good measure, the jeweler will also give the wife(s) a really eye catching $1,000 bracelet and (at least) $500 dollar diamond studded earrings at their cost as well!
Just to make sure she has extra motivation, whenever she (either) hosts a dinner party and or attends any type of social events etc!
But here’s the other thing! The jeweler approaches the golf instructor(s) with the following proposition, if they can successfully get them a private meeting with the owners of the country club, they’ll give the instructors (and their spouses) any additional $3,000 dollar piece of jewelry they want, for just $300 dollars apiece!
The reason being; here’s “what” the jeweler wants to propose the country club owners, “who” they know constantly rub shoulders with the top income earners within the local community 24/7!
They’ve got two basic introductory offers!
A.) First, they’ll offer the country club owners and their spouses (or significant others) matching his & her Rolex watches (or any watches they choose) that normally retail for $10,000 dollars each! The owners can have them for just fifteen cents on the dollar! Or (in this particular example), they each pay just $1,500 dollars cash!
Not a bad deal so far right?
B.) Or,the owners can get the watches (and the wife and significant other(s)) can get even more goodies valued at $25,000 for free! The $64,000 dollar question is? Which offer do you think the owners will be most interested in hearing more about? You got that right! (And you know this extremely simple-proven marketing ploy, will definitely increase their profits, right?)
The extremely savvy jeweler has created a list called the “top 100” and they’re constantly tweaking and refining it! And all they ask for (in this particular case), is that the country club owner(s) personally introduce and recommend them to to at least three of the VIP’s of that particular category on the list!
So for ex; one category might be an extremely successful commercial real estate broker and another category might a local boat retailer that specializes in selling six figure yachts!Hopefully, you get the idea!
And basically the higher up the local affluent social ladder food chain the potential (HIP) (Highly Influential Person) is, the lower the actual cost the jeweler will charge them initially up front for their really expensive (positive word of mouth) generating jewelry!
Like in the case of a really successful local commercial real estate developer/broker. Since the brokers office is constantly dealing with clients that earn seven & eight figures!
In might be in the jewelers best interest (long term) to simply give the broker(s) and their spouses and or significant others, matching $25,000 dollar Rolex watches!
And just create a specialized two sided business card, that broker signs so the jeweler knows the referral came directly from them! And stop spending an outrageous fortune on luke warm advertising techniques! Don’t you agree?
