Entrepreneur when is the last time you actually looked at least some of the costs of starting practically any type of small business or service? You know you’ll have a ton of constant ongoing costs, correct?

In no particular order, you’re talking monthly rent. Maybe you have to sign a semi long term lease commitment right out of the gate. So your cashflow has to be reliable, right? You’ve also got utilities, various types of Insurance to protect you and your current and future staff.

Then inventory concerns, possible customer or employee theft concerns, correct? With this being just the proverbial tip of the entrepreneurial iceberg. Why would your profit seeking retail jewelry store even consider partnering with a local massage parlor or two? Great question, and the long term answer might just inspire you or your major competitors to even more ongoing entrepreneurial greatness.

Who Says You Gotta Be Some Type Of So Called Customer Acquisition Specialist? (In Order To Systematically Grow Your Business And Or Service!)

Case in point. First of all let’s consider at least some of the typical ongoing front end costs your mom & pop type of massage parlor faces. Their main ongoing costs will be their monthly rent or monthly commercial lease payment, correct?

And they probably earn a slight ongoing profit from their back end sales of popular oils, creams and great smelling candles etc. But rest assured without a continuously flow of first time customers steadily coming through their door. Their mom & pop shop is constantly on the verge of closing. And sadly for many of them.

Once the pandemic started. They were forced to either temporarily or permanently close their doors. Which is all the more reason “why” they need to develop asap. Some type of reliable back end generating income streams.

They’ll gladly continuously share their positive experience via positive word of mouth and mouse agreed? So let your imagination run wild with the following long term marketing possibilities.

First, you pay for at least three of your top female staff members to get massages. This way you immediately get the owner(s) attention, right? Then you show the owner(s), a really nice pair of diamond studded earrings.

Which usually retail for at least $650 dollars a pair. And ask if she or they would be interested in “discovering” how they could not only initially get a pair for half or your actual hard cost of X. But eventually get them for free.

Plus, possibly get a free diamond studded necklace as well. Which typically retails for at least $2,000 dollars. Rest assured some local massage parlor owner(s) will most definitely be interested.

It’s Not If Business Or Everyday Living Expenses Will Go Up! (It’s When And How Much!)

So the owner(s) of the massage parlor will be made aware. The moment they generate 15 or X number of first time customers for your retail jewelry business. Simply by passing out some of best, market tested, extremely time sensitive, two sided index cards and or two sided gift certificates.

 You will automatically refund their deposit of X. And now going forward. They have some extremely great looking bling. Which they now own free and clear. (So you know at least some of them will be constantly texting and posting all over their social media accounts, right?)

Plus, the moment they generate their first 30 or X number of 1st time customers for you. Regardless of “how” much or how little these 1st time customers initially spend.

Because you’re banking on the ongoing back end of periodic repeat purchases. Them constantly generating at ton of positive word of mouth and mouse buzz for your store. And constantly referring a ton of local in both their personal and professional inner circles. For literally pennies on the dollar.

But the moment they generate their first 30 first time customers for you. They automatically win a free diamond studded necklace. Which currently retails for at least $2,000 dollars.

(And truth told your actual hard cost is half or less.) Going forward you can only imagine “what” at least a percentage of their current and future female customer base will definitely wanna know, correct? Bingo.)

Entrepreneur Would You Really Have A Problem With One Of Your Back End Income Generating Revenue Streams Because Incredibly Lucrative?

And to take things even further. So the massage parlor owners (and if they have any other staffers!) who wish to participate. In order for them to really get their side hustle on. The moment they generate their first 50 or X number of first time customers for you and or your major competitors.

You will allow them to sample at least two mid level perfumes. Either of which typically retail for at least $650 dollars a bottle. And whichever one they choose. You give it to them for free.

This way you know they will continuously go hog wild singing your praises high and low, agreed? Now they look good and constantly smell great. “What” do you think at least some of both their personal and professional inner circle will definitely wanna know?

And let’s quickly consider the long term math. Fifty 1st time local female customers. Who on average know at least 25 other local women from literally all walks of life and income levels. (50 x 25 = 1,250 other locals.)

A Small Ever Growing Piece Of A Much Larger Marketing Pie! (Hands Down Beats Receiving none Of The Overall Pie!)

And if only the customary 30% of them become paying customers within the next 90 days or less. This means at least 375 of them spend money with you. And “if” their initial spend only averages $375 dollars each.

Entrepreneur you or your major competitors still grossed a respectable $140,625 dollars. Minus your initially discounted marketing/promotional costs to do so. But you’re in the process of building an incredibly valuable opt in email list of real buyers. Not just run of the mill subscribers.
