Can you honestly relate to the, (meaning) your local economy being sort of like a teeter totter? As your local economy shrinks. Other previously unmined marketing opportunities continuously and totally unexpectedly pop up.
And provided you and I or your major competitors have developed at least a semi creative marketing mindset. You can and definitely leverage these periodic marketing gaps for all they’re worth. Because typically as these windows of previously untapped marketing opportunities present themselves. The ebb flow is.
You proactively ride the wave or at least strategically position yourself or at least some of your top Joint Venture (JV) or cross promotional partners to do so. This way you or your major competitors systematically lower your front end out of pocket cost. While simultaneously incrementally increasing both your initial front and long term gross back end profits as well. Sound like a plan or what?
Who Else Wants To Discover How To Systematically Fill Some Of The Periodic Marketing Gaps? (Just like The Ultimate Insiders Do!)
First of have a closer look at the feature image (at the top) of this particular blog post. Suppose this particular experienced professional public speaker makes his living by delivering both live and virtually speeches to various size audiences. let’s say he’s single and currently criss crosses America at least six months out of the year.
Basically doing live 90-120 introductory workshops on “How Beginners Avoid The Seven Most Common mistakes When Shorting Stocks!” (BTW, for those of you not currently familiar with that particular term or the concept of ‘shorting stocks” in general.

anyway, here’s the point. At least 99% of the time the hotel management or facility owners who temporarily rent out the room to the speaker or the promotors of the event.
They never ever think “if” the X number of locals are at least willing to attend these free or extremely low front end events. To try and gather as much free info as they possibly can.
And knowing at least some of them are more than willing to invest anywhere from $97-$4,997 dollars each on the initial front end. In order to take the more advanced training or invest in the speakers course or one on paid coaching packages etc.
The owners of the facility or the hotel owners or management should also be strategically building their very own opt in email list of these laser targeted prospects as well. Say what?
This way going forward. The very next time a similar introductory training of some kind is being advertised on both local radio, TV or local newspapers. They can approach the promotors about being paid some sort affiliate or JV commissions on every lead they provide which produces revenue for the promotors.
Or selling their leads on a cost per lead basis. Whichever they’ve tested and consistently produces the most reliable revenue for them.
So Why In The World Should You And I Start And Keep Systematically Building Our Very Own Assets Or Resources?
For one thing doing so acts as a income protection hedge whenever your local economy temporarily starts to contract (shrink.) For example. While the vast majority of you. Roughly 97-99% of you merely periodically stop by and occasionally read a blog post or two. And almost never share the content or implement any of what you “discover.”
You only see the initial front end of “what” having your own self hosted WordPress blog or any other self hosted blog platform can potentially do for you. Say what? Case in point. “How” many of you recognize the name “Mindy Bartley” of startup-steps.com fame?
News flash. Up until a few days ago neither had I. Turns out she a former community college professor who now successful consults with business owners and startups etc.
The main (and probably!) the only reason our paths temporarily crossed. Is because of the email message she recently send me via the contact page of blog. (Checkout the screenshot image below.)
Quick and critically important question for you to grasp going forward entrepreneur. Who initially reached out to whom in this particular scenario? So whose ultimately in charge of this particular situation?
Whose ultimately in the sole position to say yes or no to the request? And who knows for sure where or what might ultimately come out of this situation. I mean ‘what” if it turns out. now or in the not so distant future.
Mindy ends up rubbing shoulders with some major on or offline influencer’s. Or she joins a laser targeted Facebook group and decides to mention my blog along with others. As some reputable sources for others to pursue potential “guest blogging” opportunities.
Or she ultimately starts her own podcast and reaches out to all the blog owners whose blogs she contributed some guest blogging content on.
The Main Point Is For You And I To Constantly Be Open To Some Potentially Profitable Marketing Opportunities! (Especially If They Start Out A Little Non Traditionally!)
Let’s say none of the above never materializes. It’s definitely still worth being open to some type of previously untapped marketing opportunities. Don’t you agree? But without my (or your own!0 self hosted WordPress blog or self hosted website etc.
