So Who Else Definitely Wants To Know How Some Really Simple Customer Service Strategies Pay Off! Part Two

Let’s not kid ourselves. Good ole fashion customer service is an evergreen marketing strategy. And you and I would be very wise to utilize it when and wherever possible.

Because it can swing the doors to some long term marketing possibilities wide open. And do so for literally pennies on the dollar. And turn  some of your most loyal customers or clients into wealth building goodwill ambassadors.

Unlike you traditional advertising or traditional promotional campaigns. They quickly fade from the general publics memory. Not long after they initially appeared.

And if they’re not at least causing you to at least break even on the initial front end. You’ll probably remain financially upside now from now on. Or for a very long time. Which puts way too much emotional and financial strain on you and others.

And that’s no way to try and run a business or service. Don’t you agree?

How To Stop Leaving Money On The Table! (And Have Your Best Prospects And Customers Start Sending A Flood Of New Business For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)

Let’s take a closer look at two very different examples of the same basic strategy. Which is to “wow’ your ideal prospects and customers with some ‘take no prisoners’ type of bank account filling customer service.

First let’s start with an extremely practical, (albeit) hypothetical marketing example. (which as always is strictly for marketing illustration purposes only.)

Imagine the long term profit producing possibilities. Strictly from implementing the following low cost customer acquisition strategy. Say you and three other non directly competing businesses are  all currently located in the same mini mall.

There’s your non franchised gourmet coffee shop. And there’s a nail and hair salon owner a few suites down. And there’s also an incredibly popular women’s, deluxe beauty treatment center also located in the exact same mini strip mall.

And one week you or one of your major competitors set up a portable serving booth inside both the women’s hair and sail salons.

And you serve both the owners and all of their customers. (And “if’ it’s allowed their vendors as well. Free Xtra large “Big Gulp” beverages of their choice. Your company provides these plastic mugs.

If You’ve Ever Wondered How To Convert A One Shot Customer Into A Long Term Repeat Goldmine For Literally Pennies On The Dollar! (This Is How!)

Because an Xtra large “Big Gulp” plastic cup of whatever. Usually cost $5.79 or X per cup. Basically your staff informs each customer of both the nail or hair salons. This first cup is free (on the house.) Courtesy of the hair or nail salon owners.

But going forward. Every time they bring the “big Gulp” plastic mug back with them to your or your major competitors store. Instead of paying the current retail price of $5.79 per cup or X.

With the cup they only pay anywhere from $1.99 – $2.79 per cup. But now instead of them coming in once a week or two to three times a month. Now a certain percentage of these individuals who are exposed to your great tasting beverages.

Now they frequent your gourmet coffee shop -on average- three times per week. Multiplied by 52 weeks per year and on average over a four year period.  Plus knowing a certain percentage of them won’t just be buying a rather cheap Xtra large beverage of their choice.

They’ll also occasionally be purchasing your great tasting cup cakes, banana bread, exotic muffins, pastries, bagels, toasted bagels and bagels with cream cheese etc. Plus constantly bragging to both their current and future co-workers. And their current and future neighbors both on and off of social media.

Proactively Being Social Is A Proven Strategy For Going Viral!

You can only guess “what” will ultimately start to happen as more and more local, non directly competing vendors get wind of a local gourmet coffee shop that sets up portable booths right on your premises.

And not only servers some of their best tasting gourmet beverages to both your employees and customers and vendors alike.

But every one served gets to keep their Xtra large plastic mug “Big Gulp” cup. And going forward every time they bring it back to you or your major competitors shop. Instead of paying the current retail price of $5.79 per cup or higher.

They only pay $1.99 or X. And rest assured other non directly competing local businesses or service providers will definitely want you or your major competitors to start serving their tribes as well.

But it’s the potential long term back end sales funnel. Which will definitely help their bottom line grow and grow. And it all started with some good ole fashion customer service strategies and tactics. Can you live with that?
