Lead magnets     (And Have You At Least Inexpensively Tested It In The Real World?)

What immediately comes to mind? Wherever you hear the heavily used term lead magnets? To the marketing creative such as yourself. Almost anything which over delivers value for your/our clients goes, correct? 😀

Case in point. Have a closer look at the featured image with this particular post. That gift basket. Could easily be used. Via some strategic A/B split testing.

To see if giving it away in a monthly or quarterly free drawing attracts more of your ideal customers. Or if using certain products which make up the entire gift basket.

Might actually wok better as free or at cost upsell products. Or as free bonus gifts worth X. For either referrals or as ethical bribes for posting positive reviews on their social media accounts. Before the/your customers or clients leave you and or your major competitors store. May sense, does it not?

Why Building Brand Equity Is Definitely Not About Who Has The Biggest Promotional Budget!

Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Imagine if you’re the sole owner of a company which sells or distributes the gift baskets featured in the featured image above.

You and or your major competitors at least tested the following marketing strategies and tactics. First approach a few of the non franchised, upscale hair or nail salon owners in your immediate local area.

And depending on what the total lifetime value of your ideal customer is. You or your major customers could initially give the 1st X or number of customers per day, week or month.

A $20 or X dollar credit off their total bill. As long as they spent at least $50 or X number of dollars with the hair or nail salon owner.

Doing so will instantly create some positive word of mouth and mouse buzz, correct?

Certain Market Tested Strategies Prove You Definitely Don’t Need An Outrageously Large Ad Budget! (In Order To Effectively Compete!)

So if you’re targeting the nail or hair salons higher end clientele in order to begin with. And they save X off their services at the salon. This should cause at least few more locals than normal.

To visit the business, correct? 😀 Which immediately opens the door to for you offer different products in the gift basket.

At your actual hard cost Just so you get some immediate, inexpensive marketing exposure. To some potential long term repeat customers.

For literally pennies on the dollar. Plus, it would definitely makes sense. To give the owner(s) one of your best, most popular gift baskets for free, right? 😀

It’s Just A Matter Of Discovering and Implementing Some Creative Marketing Incentives!

This way they have even more reasons/incentive to help spread the word about them, correct? And your offer to all of their current or future stylists is.

As long as they join you and or your major competitors opt in  email list. And drag a friend with them to you store.

Who’s at least 18. Before your ten or extremely time sensitive, X day expiration date coupon expires completely worthless. They get to purchase one of your higher end gift baskets at your actual hard cost.

This way they definitely have something worthwhile to share with their daily customer base, correct? 😀 Entrepreneur are you starting to see how you can and definitely should expand your perspective on strategically using various types of lead magnets?
