So What Potentially Valuable Life Lessons Can You Possibly Learn From The 1993 Hit Movie Groundhog Day?
Clearly some of you. Just depending on both your age and what part of the world you’re from. You already know or sort of remember the classic 1993 mega hit comedy movie “Groundhog Day”, correct? And for others, definitely not so much, right? 😀
Primarily starring iconic comedy legend Bill Murray. In any case. I took the liberty of covering most of the bases. By embedding a brief two plus minute movie trailer video further on into the post.
Basically, the entire premise of the movie. Totally cynical and completely jaded, “Phil Connors,” Bill Murray’s character. Get’s assigned to cover the annual “Groundhog Day” event in totally out of the way “Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. (You gotta wonder “who” the hell he pissed off, right? 😀 )
And while being temporarily stuck in this totally out of the way obscure, but somewhat pleasant little town. He somehow gets temporarily caught in a time warp of some kind.
literally forces him and the townspeople to keep repeating February 2nd, (aka) “Groundhog Day.” (And learns to proactively deal with all that involves.)
Not terribly appealing is it? So what if any potentially valuable life lessons can possibly be learned from the premise of this classic, 90’s American comedy you so skeptically ask? I guess you’re gonna have to turn the page in order to find out! 😀
Ladies And Gentlemen If You’re Gonna Constantly Make It A Habit Of Not Learning From Mistakes! (What’s The Point Of Going Any Further?)
Ladies & gentlemen while you and I may never be literally trapped in some type of make believe time warp. Rest assured. At least some of the blatantly obvious.
And incredibly subtle life lessons of this classic 90’s American comedy. Most definitely apply to you and me on some level or another.

Why not? Like it or not ladies & gentlemen. In both America and throughout the entire world! As the new year draws closer and closer. At least some of you!
The moment the ball officially drops! And for the umpteenth time. You and I and literally millions of others all over the world. Will utter those classic words. (Go ahead and say them now! Because you definitely know what they are! Yes you freaking do! 😀
“Happy New Year!” Then you’ll smile and temporarily forget about whatever has been on your mind. Be it personal, business or whatever.
And either later on that same morning. Or starting the very next day or two. (Just depending on “how” much celebrating you may or may not have done the night before. 😀 )
Certain Success Habits Are Definitely Worth Repeating! (While Others Not So Much!)
Once again you will proclaim to make this years new years resolution the one. (Hmmm? Entrepreneur this definitely starting to sound a whole lot like the notorious “Groundhog Day!” Oh sure! You’ll commit (yet again!)
To finally starting your self hosted WordPress blog. (Once or as soon as you can find a paid/premium theme you really like! :-D)
Or commit to starting or continuing to release fresh now podcast content. Or sending X amount of outreach emails per day or per week to whomever.
So you can land more quality guest blog posting or guest podcasting opportunities! Or maybe to finally start utilizing, (that not exactly cheap!) Total home gym thingy you bought two years ago! Or to start and keep power walking X number of times per week.
So Is This The Year You Finally Get Off The Hampster Wheel Of Hope Or What?
Or “whatever” else it is. You pledge to do starting with the turn of the new year! And although you tend to come out of the box totally on fire. (For a very short period of time!) You ultimately return to your usual form, correct?
My overall intentions with this particular blog post. Is not to try and beat you up. Or throw some sort of guilt trip on you! Quite the contrary. Instead it’s merely to try and get you to confront the undeniable realities.
About some of the potentially honest. Hard life lessons. Which you and I. Can and definitely should learn and acknowledge. From the 1993 American classic movie comedy “Groundhog Day!” (You can and definitely should be brutally honest in the comment section below entrepreneur. How did I do?
