So What Does Profitable Viral Marketing Strategies Possibly Have To Do With Convention Attendees?

Entrepreneur (and please be brutally honest!) here, okay? When is the last time you actually received some potentially bank account filling viral marketing free exposure of any kind?

No matter where you’re currently located in the world. If you can’t or haven’t figured out “how to” generate some national publicity by being invited onto a national radio or TV show.

Does this mean you and I just sit back and continuously wait on opportunity to knock? Or should you/we get as proactive as possible? You definitely know the long term answer, correct?

Who Else Definitely Wants To Know How To Leverage Assets Or Resources Which Until Now Didn’t Seem Or Appear All That Valuable?

Take the all too promising case of live convention attendees. Of course you’ve noticed ”how” the return of live events of all types has made a massive return to popularity, correct? (Me too.)

Entrepreneurs of all kinds are once again both strategically promoting their own live and virtual events. Plus leveraging the power of being guests speakers on other extremely popular live and virtual events as well.

And these ongoing marketing activities is once again opening the doors extremely wide to tons of potentially profitable multiple streams of income producing possibilities.

Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Take the outrageously popular retail appliance business 2-3 day conventions.

First of all the promoters rent out these outrageously large convention centers, correct? And “if'” the event is for a full three days. They anticipate at least 15,000 – 25,000 locals ( or more!) to pay X to attend the event, right?

Entrepreneur there is a ton of previously untapped marketing possibilities and or previously untapped marketing opportunities just waiting to happen.

 Let’s Start By Strategically Systematically Ethically Bribing All Of Those Locals For Attending The Event!

First of all at least one of the largest local, non franchised retail appliance store dealers who has a booth at the trade/convention show.

They will have a 75 inch state of the flat screen TV prominently displayed at their booth. And of course the extremely marketing savvy retail appliance store owner(s) are offering via a power opt in email list building free drawing.

A chance for a grand total of six attendees. Two per day for all three or X number of days. Each day two 1st grand prize winners.

Who are smart enough to also include their best text number on one of the retailers best market tested lead capture pages.

Two of them per day will receive an extremely time sensitive text alerting them to the fact they are one of the days 1st grand prize winners. And they are to immediately to report to or call the retailer at booth X.

Entrepreneur Start Systematically And Strategically Leveraging The Positive Word Or Mouth And Mouse Buzz Your Best Goodwill Ambassadors Will Enthusiastically Provide!

In order to claim their 1st grand prize within 72 or X amount of hours or days. Otherwise they automatically forfeit their grand prize. (That probably won’t be occurring too often, agreed?)

Because at the retailers booth. The attendees who stop by will also get the chance to enter a free drawing.

For their chance win a state of the art deluxe home entertainment system. Which typically retails for at least $10,000 or X thousands of dollars. (Keep in mind. Truth told  their actual hard cost is typically half or slightly less.)

And one per day will be awarded to one of the local attendees. They’ll enter by way of filling out a single or two sided index card. (But those who are selected as each days 1st grand prize winner. Who also join the extremely marketing savvy retailers opt in email list.

For an extremely limited time they also get to purchase one state of the art tablet. Which typically retails for at least $1,100 dollars or more or X.

They only pay the retailers actual hard cost of X. So you know they’ll be constantly bragging both on and offline, correct? (Wouldn’t you? Me too.)

But this should not only attract a ton of attention among the attendees. But produce a ton of viral, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz among the thousands of local attendees. Which will definitely include a ton of both pictures and video footage being shared both on and offline., correct?

This Is Where The Stuff Actually Begins Not Ends!

Case in point. Remember entrepreneur, (and this way of entrepreneurial thinking is critical. First of all every one knows at least 250 other individuals, correct?)

This being the case. The extremely marketing savvy retailer will also be simultaneously building a potentially valuable offline database as well. (Say what?)

That’s the reason for the state of the art 75 inch flat screen TV being prominently displayed at their booth. So the attendees simply fill out (print) their first and last name on these one or two sided index cards.

And drop their cards in a bowl. (But get this entrepreneur.) If they own or co-own their own business or service. They drop their completed index card in a separate bowl.

And non business owner attendees drop their filled out cards in another bowl. Both are made aware. (As long as they’re also VIP opt in email subscribers.)

If they’re chosen as one of six or X number of 1st grand prize winners. They also automatically get to pick out one state of the art tablet. Which usually retails for at least $1,100 or X number of dollars as well.

Because once these attendees start their all important positive word of mouth and mouse campaigns. Think about all of the potential first time customers they can systematically generate for you and or your major competitors for literally pennies on the dollar.

So How Can You And Or Your Major Competitors Systematically Leverage Other Non Directly Competing Vendors Massive Reach For Literally Pennies On The Dollar?

For one thing. The offline database free drawing entrants.  (You or your major competitors separated them into two different segments for a reason.)

The local business owners or local service providers who entered your offline database free drawing. For their chance to win your awesome, state of the art 75 inch flat screen TV.

You and or your major competitors also want to periodically leverage their current and future employees. Their current and future customers. As well as their current or future vendors. Because every individual within those particular groups all know at least 25 or X number of other locals, do they not?

Which is “why” you and or your major competitors will at least A/B split test “what” you or your major competitors are about to discover next.

Until then, are you starting to better appreciate the real long term potential profit generating possibilities. Simply from understanding ‘how” some strategic viral marketing strategies and tactics. Can and definitely will take your business or service to the very next level or two? Say yes.
