So What Can You Possibly Learn About Growing A Business From A Simple Kids Game?

When you were  kid, (honestly) how many times did you and your closest friends play on a teeter totter? And if you have kids of you own.

How many times do you think they’ve happily played on a teeter totter? But far more importantly, (entrepreneur) did you ever think for a second in your wildest dreams?

You could learn a ton about successfully growing a business or service, simply by observing and eventually applying some of the evergreen principles, both you and your major competitors can and definitely should learn.

simply from or by playing an incredibly popular kids game.

Entrepreneur Who Would Have Ever Thought You Or Your Major Competitors Master Some Of The Proven Principles Of Growing A Small Business! (Simply From Applying Some Of What You Learn From Playing An Incredibly Popular Kids Game!)

First of all, have you noticed ‘how’ neither participant can be either up or down at the exact same time. Huh? So both sides have to help each other otherwise neither can move forward. (Yea so what?)

The big reveal here is. Equal cooperation is desperately needed from both participants. team work is essential. Next, neither side needs any additional skills, cred or multi year experience in order to help the other out.

And neither participant needs extremely deep pockets in order to systematically leverage their partners momentum. And this is just the surface stuff.

Closer to home, here’s “what’s” really potentially valuable as far as you and I are concerned. As one side goes down or vice versa, the other side automatically goes in the opposite direction. (Again at this point you’re probably rolling your eyes and thinking out loud so what?)

What ‘if” anything does that obvious fact have to do with anything?  (Am I right?) Fair enough. From a marketing supply and demand perspective. Think of what’s currently going on -on a major scale in the hospitality industry.

As more and more luxury hotels reduce their housekeeping staff. (But not immediately lower their prices per room.) This means less expected service especially for the more pricier rooms.

And less housekeepers means longer wait times as rooms are prepared to be rented again. This also means the hotels higher end clientele suddenly have more options.

Because “why” pay more for a room, when the services no longer match or exceed the expected accommodations. the teeter tooter effect in full boom entrepreneur.

Entrepreneur You Do More Of This! (And You Or Your Major Competitors Will Get Of That!)

Case in point. What would you do “if’ a relative stranger whose a follower of yours on one of your social media platforms. They started consistently sharing and liking your content.

And they also started commenting and sharing both your blog content and youtube videos. And periodically leaving positive reviews on your podcast episodes.

The point is you’re far more likely to be open to any potential Joint Venture (JV) partnerships or cross promotional arrangements they may propose, correct?

Again the potential teeter tooter effect in full display entrepreneur. Huh? As their overall resistance or skepticism goes down. the higher the likelihood of you or your major competitors forming some type of mutually beneficial relationship with them.

Say for example. As the laser targeted traffic to your state of the art WordPress blog or e-commerce dramatically increases. You’ll find potentially guest bloggers who used to pitch their blog post writing freelance services to you at premium or close to premium prices.

Now they’ve strategically done a reverse. Say what? Meaning now they’re more than willing to routinely write guest blog post for you either free or for the bare bones minimum price. Huh?

Simply because they recognize the long term value of being periodically published on an extremely high ranking site. Here’s the link of where I appeared as a guest blogger on my expert small business strategist coach, mentor and friend Gail Gardner-s growmap.com site.

Below is a screenshot of Gail-s sites current (DA) Domain Authority.

And both liking and sharing it allover social media. (For even more free massive exposure.) Can you pay for an ad on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter just once and still generate positive results for the next several years? Me either.

Not to be misunderstood here. Of course you and I should be strategically leveraging social media as much as possible. But entrepreneur don’t ever forget or neglect the the undeniable fact.

You and I do not own social media. We’re glorified tenants. And the owners are the legal landlords. And they can and will temporarily or permanently shutdown your account(s). It not only happens every day somewhere in the world.

But sadly before you or your major competitors are finished reading this entire blog post. It will have happened somewhere in the world again.
