Case in point. As you recall, in the game of “Pinata,” the object is, for the solo participant.

They try and guide the blindfolded kid, to where the hanging “Pinata,” is. And the blindfolded kids, swings a stick.Trying to hit the “Pinata” hard enough.

So they break it open, and enjoy the prizes safely hidden inside it. Which typically is candy.Correct?

So How Can You Benefit By Implementing Some Common Sense Marketing Concepts Inspired By An Incredibly Popular Kids Game?

First and foremost. Let’s consider the totally obvious. Okay? If the kid (participant), doesn’t initially have the secure blindfold on.

How much faster. Can they initially locate the “Pinata” and break it open.A whole lot faster, correct Agreed? Now then.

For just a moment. Consider one of your past email marketing campaigns. And if for whatever reasons, you still haven’t invested, in some type of reputable, paid email service provider (ESP.)

What the heck are you still waiting for? Anyhoo.. Take (strictly) for marketing illustration purposes only.

The following five, potential email marketing variables. And how changing, A/B split (testing) each individual variable. One at a time of course.

Can and probably will, have a major, positive impact on your bottom line.Over time.

So What In The World Does Proven A/B Split Testing Possibly Have To Do With An Incredibly Popular Kids Game?

Great question. But first. Please consider, these five, potentially important variable changes, you might need to make.

1.) Potential variable # one: Which color, (if any), should your “call to action,”(CTA) background button be? In other words. Where you might have the wording, “Free Instant Access!” Or something similar.

What “if” any, should your background color be? And if you don’t know for sure, or have any doubts what soever? Aren’t you pretty much, in the exact same position, as the eager kid, whose blindfolded. Swinging at the “Pinata.” Yep! Pretty much.

Think Of Any Strategic A/B Split Testing As A Proven Form Of Risk Reduction!

2.) Potential variable # two: Should you just rely solely on your so called, marketing “gut” instincts.

As to whether or not, your emails main subject line, should have your message. Or be personalized in some way? In other words. Should it start of with something like, Hi (your name), and then the rest of your subject line.

Or just use your subject line, without any type of personal greeting included?

3.) Potential variable # three: And should the body copy of your email message(s), just be plain text? Or should it be HTML? (Hyper Text Markup Language.) Or does it even matter that much anymore?

Are You Starting To Better Appreciate Why At Least Some Of Your Email Marketing Campaigns And Efforts Are Sort Of Missing The Mark?

4.) Potential variable # four: And should your actual opt in form itself, use a space, for entering, both your first & last name? Or should you only go for the email address only? Or just the first name and email address?

Again, do you merely rely on your “gut” marketing instincts? Or is there, a more reliable, proven strategy, to help you decide?

5.) Potential variable # five: Even take your offline flyers and or index or business cards. Or your online, PPC (Pay Per Click ) ad campaigns.

Should you include an image or just plain text? And if you choose an image. Which one will actually, (either) increase your overall CTR, (Click Through Rate), or decrease it?

And on and on it goes. Unless or until. You decide to start routinely using, some form of  strategic A/B split testing and tracking.

Are You Now More Appreciative Of The Long Term Profit Generating Potential Of Some Form Of A/B Split Testing?

Say for ex: I was going to run a paid (PPC) campaign on Facebook. And I was marketing,(testing) promoting, my expert Internet marketing coach and mentor, James Mcallister, of jamesmcallisteronline.com.

Let’s same I’m promoting as an affiliate, in this particular, (hypothetical marketing example only), one of his higher end, fully customized, one on one, coaching/consulting packages.

And I have narrowed my choices down, (in this first initial test ad campaign.) To these two separate images to use in this initial test ad.

Should I just go with my, so called “gut” marketing instincts here? Or perhaps be more scientific with my approach? Here are the two sample images.
