Can you honestly think of a better time of the year then celebrating “Thanksgiving” with those closest to you? Me either. Provided of course you even celebrate such a holiday in America or the the equivalent in your part of the world.
You’re momentarily surrounded by those or at least some of the important people in your life, right? And at it’s best your surroundings are generational. Huh? Meaning it could be from some of the younger to much older members of your immediate or closest family relatives.
You throw in a few close neighbors, extremely close cousins and besties and these mummeries are priceless are they not? Agreed. But right about now you’ve gotta be wondering out loud “what” in the world can a heart warming thanksgiving dinner possibly teach you or your major competitors about running effective email marketing campaigns, correct?

Entrepreneur You Really Need To Stop Ignoring Certain Effective Email Marketing Tips!
Case in point. Imagine it’s early afternoon and you and (either) your spouse or live in significant have been invited, (along with) several others to your favorite aunts house to celebrate thanksgiving dinner together. And you along with everybody knows it’s her favorite time of year because she’s up practically all night the day before preparing, what practically every body agrees is some of the best tasting food and exotic deserts. Right?
And this year is probably not going to be any exception because a relative whose made great strides with their recover from open heart surgery is planning on joining every one.
It’s the first time in the last six or seven months since they’ve really left the house. So you along with everyone else is definitely looking forward to seeing them.
Who Would Have Thought A Traditional Family Dinner Could Teach You Or Your Major Competitors Such A Critically Important Lesson About Effective Email Marketing Campaigns!
So imagine this potential scene unfolding. The moment you step foot into you aunts home, your nose and other senses are immediately greeted by all the expected aroma of a kitchen filled with some of the most mouth watering food.
Which you and every body else can’t wait to dig into. And your aunt invites you to please join everyone else in the main living room area while she, (and only she!) alone spends at least the next 30-45 minutes stacking this great smelling food on the table.
And finally once she brings out the mouth watering looking turkey and places it on the table and your stomachs basically turning in nots.
She says (much to every bodies complete surprise!) dinner will will finally be served in the next (get this!) 45 minutes or less. Say what? Entrepreneur right about now you and every other sane person reading this have got to be wondering at least two things.
1.) First: What in the world is up with one of your favorite aunts, right? No doubt.
2.) Second: And what “if” anything worthwhile this incredibly odd story has to do with you or your major competitors consistently implementing some proven email marketing campaigns? Fair enough.
Entrepreneur Potentially Profitable Email Marketing Campaigns Are Definitely About More Than Simply Pushing The Send Button!
Are you sitting down? So imagine “how” unappealing this once hot gourmet style tasting food, actually tastes once your aunt finally gives you the okay to sit down and east an hour and a half to two full hours after the food was originally prepared.
Needless to say the prime moments of “what” could of and should have been another one of her most memorable moments has pretty much been lost for good. Don’t you agree?
And of course your immediate $64,000 dollar question has to be somewhere along the lines of? “What” does any of this semi entertaining story possibly have to do with or your major competitors consistently profiting from some type of email marketing campaigns?
Simply this. Entrepreneur if you or your major have actually gone to the trouble and expensive of paying for laser targeted traffic of any kind to your state of the art WordPress blog and lead capture page etc.
And you’ve successfully persuaded some of them to join your opt in email or text message list. And then for whatever reasons, you decide not to immediately follow up with them.
There’s A Ton Of Previously Untapped Marketing Leverage In Strategic And Systematic Follow Email Marketing Campaigns!
Either via your pre- written follow up, (autoresponder) drip campaign. Those of you who are current VIP subscribers on one of my lists, you know exactly what I’m referring to, right?
Or “if” you or your major competitors decide to periodically follow up with them via previously unscheduled, extremely time sensitive “broadcast” messages.
Whatever the case may be. If you don’t communicate with them for at least two weeks or 60 days etc. Guess what? My aspiring online entrepreneur, (I truly hate to be the bear-r) of extremely bad, bank account draining news.
but not only are you now dealing with an extremely cold list. Say what? But there’s also a very chance, even though they originally voluntarily joined your list. They may have forgotten about you or your major competitors altogether. Or worse yet, they may think your email message(s) are spam. Ouch.
Nod your heads cadets because it’s true. So hopefully you now have a much better appreciate of comparing a fancy, (albeit cold) thanksgiving dinner, to what typically happens to your opt in email or recent text message subscribers, when you or your major competitors don’t stay in frequent contact with them. Agreed?
