Creating digital assets     (And What’s Your Current Plan For Consistently Doing So?)

Look, like it r not. Your cause (and mine BTW!) Is definitely much better served. By you and I systematically creating digital assets and or resources.

You can be a non franchised, mom & pop bakery. And leverage social media to the hilt. Hopefully without or before your account(s) get temporarily or permanently shutdown.

Because without a doubt. At least some of your extremely valued customer base is extremely active on social media, right?

Hopefully You’ve Had Enough Of These Outrageously Expensive Advertising Campaigns!

Ladies & gentlemen without a doubt. There are a ton of extremely qualified men & women literally all over the world. Who are very skilled when it comes to market and promoting using social media.

So you and I don’t need outrageously large followings. Nor do you initially need massively large opt in emails lists. (Of course over time. You definitely need to be constantly building your very own opt in email lists.

Because doing so gives you more control and long term options. Consider the following, all too common situation. Two non franchised, directly competing local retail furniture store owners.

Go about building their businesses like this.

A.) Retailer furniture store owner A. Typically spends anywhere from $200,000 – $600,00 on outrageously expensive. Hit & miss traditional advertising campaigns. You know the stuff I’m referring to, right? Local prime time radio, TV, local newspapers and local billboards etc.

One Is Definitely Working Extremely Hard In Their Their Business! (While The Other Is Working Extremely Hard On Their Business!

B.) Retail furniture store owner B on the other hand. They’ve built a highly receptive opt in email list over the last seven plus years. And they currently have an impressive 127,671 total subscribers. Say what? 😀 (And that’s even after 9% of their subscribers have unsubscribed.

So rather than keep wasting tens of thousands of dollars. Month after month and year after year. On outrageously expensive advertising campaigns.

They’ve strategically segmented their lists. So when they send their extremely time sensitive emails to various parts/segments of their list. Their typical open rates and CTR (click Through Rates) and overall sales conversion rates are much higher. Than than retailer “A.”

So Who Else Is Definitely Ready To Take Things To The Very Next Level Or Two?

So getting back to “how” a local, non franchised, mom & pop bakery owner. Can and definitely should strategically leverage social media. (Even or especially if their current social media following isn’t that large.)

Or “how” they can and definitely should leverage opt in email. Even or especially if they don’t currently have their own email account service set up yet. Say what?

Yea, the extremely marketing savvy retail furniture store owner “B.” They’ll gladly send a “broadcast email” message to all of their subscribers. Making them aware. Of an extremely time sensitive offer to the local bakery.

Any two muffins of their choice and one Xtra Large beverage of their choice. Typically this yummy tasting combo would retail for $19.49 or X.

But with the extremely time sensitive discount. They only pay the actual hard cost of just $7.99 or X. The bottom line. A percentage of the retail furniture stores subscribers.

Will definitely rush to take advantage of this type of irresistible offer, correct? (For sure.) Retail furniture store owner “B” instantly receives a ton of long term goodwill, correct? Not to mention some viral, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz for the bakery too. Don’t you agree?

And the bakeries creating digital assets. Even though they’re not really that active on social media. And still don’t have their own opt in email list of their own. (Hopefully that will ultimately change.)

In the meantime, you probably are starting to better appreciate the potential long term advantages and benefits of creating digital assets and or resources. Whether you initially own those initial digital assets or not.
