So How In The World Does Strategic Email Marketing Help A Renovation Project?

So did you hear, recently some of the (major),free email account providers, had a few glitches, with regards to how, or even if, they will accept emails, from some of the most reputable, paid email service providers.

Leading some to start predicting (once again), strategic email marketing is therefore old school, and no longer relevant!

So naturally, you immediately start hearing the age old “battle cry”, which as you already know only too well, goes something like this! Opt in email is dead!Does that tune sound all too familiar?

I thought it might.But entrepreneur, I’m so happy to report, not only is opt in email, and or strategic mobile marketing, nowhere near closing to being dead!

Entrepreneur,(hopefully) this particular post, will successfully demonstrate to you, “how” some local small business owners, and or service providers, effectively use strategic email marketing, to help them increase their long term gross profits.

Even while their business is temporarily closed, for some much needed renovations! 😀

How does that sound? Because typically, whenever you think about any type of, (so called) strategic email marketing campaign.

 It usually involves an entrepreneur, and or vendor, driving their subscribers, to (either) one of their own sales pages to purchase something, or to some type of affiliate offer.Agreed?

But normally, the email isn’t initiated because the business or service, is currently undergoing some type of remodeling,right?

Who Says Your Renovation Project Can’t Positively Affect Your Bottom Line?(And Your Email Marketing Campaign Can’t Help You Do It!)

So let me provide the true inspiration behind this particular post.Right near where I often grocery shop, there is a very popular coffee/bagel shop, equipped with Wi Fi, and (occasionally) they provide live entertainment, from an up and coming aspiring, local music artist(s.)

But they do a very steady business.Because you often notice a semi to full house of constant patrons, sitting about, chatting texting and surfing the web etc.

So like every other business owner/service provider, they more or less rely on 20% of their customer base, for 80% of their long term gross revenue.

And here’s a really simple way they can do so, with regards to their closing down, for the next six to eight weeks, while they perform some much needed renovations/upgrades.And once they open back up, hit the ground running, without a lot fan fare, and or any additional out of pocket expenses!

Effective Email Marketing Strategies Isn’t Just For The Big Name Gurus!

So the savvy coffee/bagel shop owner, let’s his best customers know ten weeks out, they will be closed for six to eight weeks, in order to give the place a much needed upgrade/face lift.

And they will heavily rely on their newly created VIP email subscribers list, who in reality, are (aka) their twenty per-centers, to help them quickly regain their former daily gross receipts.

And here’s “how” they plan on doing it.They are going to give their very best (repeat) customers, special “temporary” 60 day “buddy passes.”

Which means, for the first sixty days after they re-open, every current repeat customer they have, that brings anyone 18 and over with them to their shop, they save 30% off their entire bill!

And if the guest (preferably) is a first time visitor, they automatically get a time sensitive, date stamped 60 day “buddy pass,” so they can inexpensively keep the active recruitment of new customers going!

Strategic Email Marketing Campaigns Can And Will Fit Practically Any Budget!(Including Yours!)

And remember, these are the coffee/bagel shops twenty per-centers!so they are far more reliable!

But here’s the main point, when those twenty percent (repeat) customers originally join the coffee owners opt in email/mobile marketing list, they will receive a series of reminder, unscheduled, broadcast email “alert” messages.

About one per day, a week (to ten days) before the coffee shop is scheduled to re-open, (highly) encouraging their twenty per-center, (repeat customers) to stop in, starting the day they officially re-open, with their  buddy, to start saving.

And those previously unscheduled, strategic “broadcast” email alerts, will be instrumental in helping the shop owner, keep their additional out of pocket “grand re-opening” expenses down!

Strategic Email Marketing Is Definitely An Extremely Valuable Marketing Tool To Have Access To! (Don’t You Agree?)

And to highly encourage their very best customers, repeat loyal customers, to not only come back to their shop, but bring a buddy as well. And by doing so, they save X% off their entire bill, for the next 60 days after the shop re-opens.

And as the cards near expiration,(for just $5 dollars or X), they can get those cards converted into annually renewable laminated cards, that let them save 20%!
