As you previously discovered in part one, of this ongoing series, (so called) power networking, is the much preferred choice, of practically every extremely savvy entrepreneur, correct? Absolutely.
I mean, as opposed to the all too typical, cash strapped small business owner and or service provider, that occasionally dips their toe in the water, (so to speak.)
And whenever it’s totally convenient for them, they’ll timidly try their hand, at a little lukewarm networking basics here and there.
And when doing so fails to render any consistent, bankable results they quickly fold their tent and move on to the next, (so called) flavor of the month marketing strategy and or tactic.(Sound all too frighteningly familiar?)
But rarely if ever, are they all in and totally committed, to some long term (bank account) filling power networking. Have you noticed that particular mindset as well?
In part two, let’s peel the marketing onion back even further, so the potentially profitable under belly, can be (at least) partially exposed. What-da-ya-say?
What The Heck Do You Mean You’re Still Not Sure How So Called Power Networking Vaults You To The Front Of The Line And Beyond?
Now quickly picking up, where part one left off.As you recall, we had a local, (single location), retail jewelry store outlet, with a steady growing and reliable customer base. And because their current advertising/marketing budget, was right around $30,000 (or X thousand) dollars per month.(Give or take.)
And their two biggest, major (local) competitors, were easily spending twice that amount every month! And we’re not even talking about during the height of the annual seasonal holiday rush.
They quickly concluded, it makes (absolutely) no sense, to attempt to go head to head with them, trying to consistently generate, those all important, first time customers, using the outrageously expensive, traditional advertising methods and mediums.
Whose Says You Have To Constantly Spend A Ton Of Money In Order To Build An Extremely Profitable Sales Funnel!
So instead, they initially tested,with $7,500-$10,000 dollars of their current ,(traditional) advertising budget.(Or X.)
And they’re going to attempt to create some powerful, and positive on and offline, viral word of mouth & mouse buzz, by strategically leveraging the customer base, of a few, (popular) upscale local bar and grille owners.Huh?
And they’ll start, by finding some extremely personable,female bartenders, that the locals have simply grown to love over the years.
Do You Agree That Effective Power Networking Begins With The Right Mindset?
Now once they initially discover, (at least) two extremely personable female bartenders, preferably in two different local establishments. They’ll give each of them, one $400 dollar diamond studded earring, along with an (extremely) time sensitive VIP, “brand new first time customer only”, discount coupon.
And as long as they redeem it at your store, before the expiration date and they drag a potential first customer with them, whose 18 and over.They automatically get the other (absolutely) fabulous,$400 dollar diamond studded earring free! 😎
Otherwise, if they happen to come in to redeem their coupon, (alone) and or after the hand written expiration date expires, they can simply purchase the remaining diamond studded earring, at your (and or your major competitors) actual cost.
And You Thought Building An Extremely Profitable Marketing Funnel Using Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Strategies Was Both Expensive And Difficult!
So you know, (come hell or high water), there’s a 99% chance of them dragging their closest girlfriend, sister,(sister in law), favorite aunt, Mom and or co-worker(s) with them, to your store, before the coupon actually expires,right? 😎
But here’s where the fun stuff actually begins, (going forward.) As they work the bar each shift, (especially) during the two most popular,(crowded) days of the week, and also during the extremely crowded, annual holiday season.
Because this extremely savvy jewelers best long term, repeat customers, have a total lifetime customer value of anywhere from (a low) of $25,000 dollars, to a high of $50,000 dollars, over a five to seven year period.
The extremely savvy jeweler, definitely can afford to, and will most certainly get creative, with their “first time” customer acquisition strategies and or tactics etc. Wouldn’t you?
Often The Simplest Power Networking Tips Make You The Most Money!
The other requirement, (the extremely) savvy jeweler has is, these female bartenders, definitely need to be active on the various social media platforms, like twitter, FB, Pinterst and Instagram.
So the jeweler will have the bar owners create some laminated index cards, and they will be numbered one through twenty.
However, the first ten of them will be labeled, (in big bold, red letters) I might add! 😎 They will read “The First Ten!” And the next ten, (numbers 11-20), they will simply be numbered eleven through twenty.
And as these the first twenty ladies enter the bar, (initially) on the bars traditionally) two slowest days of the week, the first ten ladies will be told, to take these laminated index cards and redeem them at the bar, (immediately) and they get their choice of any one drink of their choice, free on the house! 😎
Are You Starting To Appreciate How Their Really Are No Shortage Of Extremely Viable Entrepreneurial Ideas And Or Strategies!
And the next (or) remaining ten ladies that enter the bar that night,they will be given the remaining ten (laminated) index cards, that simply has a number from eleven through twenty on it.
And they will also be told by the greeter, to redeem them at the bar asap. And when they do, they will also be greeted, (by the extremely vivacious), beautiful, $400 dollar, diamond studded earring wearing, female bartender. 😎
Who will immediately make them aware,their very first drink and or any desert of their choice is a (staggering) 75% (or X% ) off!
These two incredibly simple marketing tweaks, should get at least some of those ladies, immediately texting and or direct dialing some of their closest girlfriends, co-workers, sister and or sister in laws immediately! 😎 Right?
Which you know, will definitely lead to some of them frequently returning to the bar!

But here’s the real point: (keep in mine) initially, this entire, (relatively) low cost marketing ploy, will initially be taking place, at two separate (local) upscale bars.
And as, (both) the on and offline, positive word of mouth & mouse free publicity buzz, definitely begins to spread! Which means, more and more local women begin to frequent these bars, (initially) on their traditionally two slowest days of the week.
More women get directly exposed to these two extremely personable, female bartenders, totally eye catching bling! 8-)Right?
Don’t Discount And Or Under Estimate The Long Term Profit Generating Potential Of Some Proven Small Business Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics!
So when they redeem those index cards, the female bartender, (will of course) initially “thank them“, and rather casually ask if they currently know anybody that might like to save (a mere) 20- 60% off their very first purchase of some really nice jewelry?
And while she casually points to her,(by then) absolutely beautiful diamond studded earrings, and her really nice bracelet, (and or) her totally eye catching, diamond studded necklace! 😎 (That she also purchased at your actual cost too!)
For those ladies who (initially) say yes!She will whip out one of your special lead capture page address type of business cards, and direct them to head over to your WordPress blog, so they can, (first) enter your monthly free drawing, for a chance to win a beautiful, $3,500 dollar diamond studded necklace!
