Any idea what your typical cash strapped, resourced challenged small business owner, service provider, and or startup entrepreneur.

Routinely spends every month on outrageously expensive traditional advertising or promotional methods methods?

Personally, I’d say no matter what the actual figures are it’s definitely way too much, for the all too typical, dismal results they often achieve. Would you not agree?

For sure you and I definitely need to invest our hard earned dollars in various forms of proven advertising and or promotional methods etc.

Just avoid at all costs the traditional,glitzy sort of image advertising you see being utilized by cash strapped small business owners, desperately trying to convey the fortune 500 type of image.

Which truth told is doing nothing more than draining their already extremely limited cash and or credit resources.

Why On Earth Would Your  Extremely Resourced Challenged Small Business Waste A Fortune On Outrageously Expensive Advertising When You Can generate A Ton Of New Business Strategically Using Marketing Leverage?

Case in point. You look at any local,national and or local throwaway guide on any given day of the week.

And without fail you’ll see some severely cash strapped small business owners, and or service providers who invested a ton of money trying some form of outrageously expensive traditional advertising methods. Agreed?

Absolutely. And sadly as is all too typically the case. They have very little positive results to show for it other than a bank account balance, which unfortunately is far less than what they initially started out with them. Sound all too horrifyingly familiar? I thought it might.

And of course the exact same metrics unfortunately apply to outrageously expensive, local radio and or TV ad campaigns as well.At least as far as your typical cash starved small business entrepreneur is concerned.

Savvy Entrepreneurs Choose To Strategically Power Market Their Extremely Valuable Products And Services!(Not Just Advertise Them!)

Case in point. As some of you already know and realize my expert small business marketing coach and mentor, Gail Gardner, of growmap.com fame.

Occasionally permits me and other savvy entrepreneurs to guest post on her extremely high ranking blog. (Thanks Coach!)

And whenever I do I immediately receive an instant surge in brand new first time and returning traffic to my blog.

To demonstrate here’s is an update to the social shares, I recently received simply because more comments were left on this particular blog post.And I responded to them.

They’ve gone up by an additional 25%, since the post was originally published not even 90 days ago.

And since Google, along with all the other major search engines love ongoing engagement, doing so helps further boost the posts organic (free) listings in the search engines for the specific keywords which are being targeted in the post.

Here’s the overall point, while you and I can certainly spend X, every week and or month, investing in ‘solo ads’, and or buying potentially pricey banner ads on high profile blogs, and or various display networks etc.

Or, you and I, could just consistently respond to the comments made, on the guest post we’ve written, and help Google help us, for literally pennies on the dollar. Which proven option do you prefer?

This way you can systematically build an extremely profitable ongoing sales follow up process for literally pennies on the dollar.

  2. Makes sense to me Mark. In fact, I just walked back from the mailbox and dumped 3 of those local publications you mentioned in the trash before I ever walked back into my house! I know from when I worked in travel that there are a ton of those types of publications. All you have to do is walk around the baggage claim area at any airport and you’ll see a hundred different pubs, all shapes and sizes with high definition colors and hefty price tags to be included. Looking forward to reading part 2!
