(And How You Could Be Losing A Fortune In Long Term Profits If You’re Not Applying These Three Incredibly Simple Email Marketing Strategies!)

Have you ever wondered why some Internet marketers email marketing lists are more receptive than others?

Of course it never hurts if you’ve established a certain amount of trust and credibility with your subscribers.Right?

Provided of course that you’re not constantly bombarding them with one meaningless offer after another.

But if you’re actually providing them with valuable content that helps make their lives or careers better, you’re well on your way to much higher email marketing response rates.

And your email marketing lists, are definitely becoming an extremely valuable asset.

Before diving into the meat of this post, let’s first define three simple terms to help convey these three incredibly simple (yet) extremely powerful and mega proven email marketing concepts.

Your Very First Assignment Is To Be Sure That You’re Constantly Providing Valuable Content To Your Email Subscribers….

Before you get into the specific insider details. You first definitely  need to define three basic terms.

1.) Delivery Rate: Your delivery rate tells you what percentage of the emails you send out  actually make it to the intended recipients inbox. And it’s expressed as a percentage of the total number of emails sent.

(For ex: Let’s say that you have 1,000 double opt in subscribers on your email list, and you send them a message.

If 993.4 of your opt in emails make it to your intended subscribers inbox’s, your email service provider has a delivery rate of 99.34%.

Simply divide the total number of actual emails that were delivered vs the total number of emails sent, and multiply your results by 100. (993.4 divided by 1,000 = .9934 x 100= 99.34%)

(Big congrats BTW, because simply by learning ‘how to’ calculate the aforementioned formula, you just moved ahead of 95% of your newbie competitors!  😀 )

(FYI: By the way when it comes to paid email service providers delivery rates, none rank higher than aweber. The overwhelming choice of successful Internet marketers of all sizes.

(But especially geared towards newbie marketers.)

2.) Open Rate: This is the percentage of emails that actually get opened. For ex: if 218 of your 1,000 subscribers actually opened the email you sent them.

Your email open rate, (for this one particular email message only), is 21.8%. ( 218 divided by 1,000 = 0.218 x 100 =21.8%)

3.) Click Through Rate (CTR): This is the percentage of your subscribers that actually clicked on at least one of the links in your email.

For ex; as mentioned previously (if) 218 subscribers that actually opened your email message, and 77 of them actually clicked on one of the links in the email.

Your  click through rate (CTR) for this particular example would be 35.32%. ( 77 divided  by 218 = 0.3532 x 100= 35.32%)

Just to be clear here: You take the actual number of subscribers that opened the email, (218) and divide by the actual number of subscribers that clicked on at least one of the links in the email and multiply your results by 100.

Now let’s quickly turn your attention to.

Three Incredibly Simple Ways To Easily Improve Your Emails Response Rates…..  ( That Cost Very Little Money!)

Keep in mine, all the major email service providers such as aweber, get response, infusionsoft and icontact etc; they all keep track of the various metrics that were previously mentioned.

A.) Method # one: This first common sense method simply has to do with improving the ‘delivery’ rate of your email service provider.

And if (over time) for whatever reasons your email service providers IP (Internet Provider) address gets blocked by the spam filters, your email delivery rate could be affected by  as much as four percent.

The net result being, less emails delivered, over time ultimately equals less sales.Right?

B.) Method # two: Make sure the ‘subject line’ of your emails, always convey some specific benefit, or that it provides a solution to some specific problem and or issue which is important to your subscribers.

Basically, your emails subject line serves the exact same function as your (on or offline) sales letters main power headline.

Meaning- if it doesn’t instantly grab and hold your subscribers attention, they won’t bother to open and read your email.

C.) Method # three: Again this (non techie) inexpensive strategy will just seem to brain dead simple to have any positive effect, but for maximum delivery rates, text based emails not ( HTML) is your best option.

Building Your Business Using Strategic Follow Up Email Marketing Is Simply A Must!

The main reason being, on average a much higher percentage of HTML based emails never reach your subscribers inbox, because they get blocked by spam filters.

Three quick bonus tips:

1.) Always check your emails with a spam filter detector before you send it out.  If your email service provider does offer this particular service, then you can get it from aweber.

2.) Manually remove all bounced or non deliverable emails from your list asap.

3.) This one is a little tricky, but whenever possible, for maximum results be sure you (pre schedule) or send your emails out between 8 am -9 am EST or between 1-2  pm EST.
