Have you read any of the ongoing multi part series, on ‘how’ some extremely savvy entrepreneurs, (who) truth told, are academically no smarter than you.
However, when it comes to effectively implementing proven marketing strategies in general and lead generation strategies in particular, they most certainly have a decided edge.
And it’s up to you (and only you!) to aggressively take the steps necessary to close this gap in (both) knowledge and implementation, asap.
Otherwise, as your major competitors continually develop and gradually improve their various entrepreneurial skills.And rest assured, they most certainly will, the potential income generating gap edge they currently possess, will only grow larger and larger.
So How In The World Do Some Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Consistently Generate Brand New First Time Customers And Or Clients Right Under Their Major Competitors Noses?
In the previous ongoing six part part series, about ‘how’ some extremely savvy entrepreneurs (no smarter than you BTW!), consistently generate leads for literally pennies on the dollar.
The accompanying ‘how to’ marketing video with this particular blog post, details a similar (but slightly) different variation, of the first marketing strategy you are about to be exposed.
Either strategy, can be slightly tweaked, customized and or adjusted, in order to accommodate your current marketing needs and or situation.
So let’s use our previous (hypothetical marketing) example, of an up and coming -local- CPA and or CFP, who was recently licensed, and (has since) decided to go out on their own. Which means (in so many words), they’re readily available cash and or business credit, is still a little tight.
And currently, they do not have their very own, state of the art WordPress website and or blog set up just yet.
Here’s How And Where Your Highly Developed Entrepreneurial Skills Can And Will Pay Off Big Time!
Since the CPA (initially) is low on readily available cash, they will not be able to rely on driving targeted traffic to their own self hosed WordPress blog.
Instead, they will purchase some inexpensive domain names, which hopefully end with the dot.com extension.And they will create their very own -state of the art- lead capture page forms, (similar) to the one featured in the screenshot image below.
Which was created (BTW), using my paid email service provider of choice, Aweber-s rather basic, lead capture page editing software, in all of twenty minutes.
And create some market tested flyers and or index cards, (and over time), they will purchase some direct response style business cards.
Taking Your Time To Develop Some Bankable Lead generation Skills Is Well Worth The Investment!
Since the CPA (or) CFP’s money is sort of tight, they will aggressively look for a non directly competing joint venture partner, (or potential cross promotional partners) who needs the exact same customer base, for different reasons, and one who can reasonably afford to finance this next marketing leg of the CPA’s overall lead generation strategy.
The CPA will offer a local, upscale jeweler whose ideal customer base, in this particular case, is local small business owners, service providers, and or startup entrepreneurs etc.And their upper management staff.
And because the jewelers ideal customer base, has a total lifetime customer value of (at least) $15,000 dollars, over the next five to seven year period.
The jeweler can easily afford to finance (sponsor) the CPA’s two primary marketing strategies. And they will gladly do so, in exchange for the extremely marketing savvy CPA/CFP reimbursing the jewelers upfront out of pocket cost by providing their proven expertise for free, until the jewelers upfront out of pocket costs are recovered.
Developing Your Lead Generation Skills Will Ultimately Turn Out To Be Worth Their Weight In Gold!
Here are the three primary marketing strategies and or tactics, the marketing savvy CPA/CFP (along with) their non directly competing jeweler (JV) and or cross promotional partner(s),will inexpensively test, in order to discover which (if any) of these initial marketing strategies, will consistently yield the most bankable results.
1.) Potential marketing strategy # one: First, right out of the gate, the CPA will approach a reputable, local non franchised printing business owner.
Preferably one they’ve been doing business with for at least three months or more.They approach the printer about offering a free monthly (and or) quarterly drawing, targeting local small business owners, service providers and or startup entrepreneurs etc.
And to really dangle a carrot, they will find practically irresistible, the printer will offer $500 -$700 dollars worth of free printing services, each-monthly or quarterly- grand prize winner can use in any combination they wish!But they’re ultimately responsible for any amounts above their grand prize winnings.
Your Highly Developed Small Business Marketing Skills Can And Will Give Your Business A Decided Edge!
2.) Potential marketing strategy # two: Each month,(or quarter) after the grand prize winner is announced, (via) the printers opt in email list, mobile marketing, (or ) if the printer, (for whatever reasons),still doesn’t have a way to capture their website visitors primary email address.
The printer will send batches of snail mail post cards. And all the monthly/quarterly runner ups, will be offered two incredibly valuable, extremely time sensitive bonuses worth X!
A.) Extremely time sensitive bonus # one: All runner ups will receive an extremely time sensitive, discount savings coupon, from the printer which can potentially save -brand new- first time customers only, 30% ( X%) off
their first first purchase or two.
And your current customers, can save 20% off their very next purchase, but save a grand total of 40% off their very next purchase,( with no minimum purchase required!), provided they bring another local, small business owner/service provider with them, whose not already a customer, and or opt in email/mobile subscriber!
Your Highly Developed Entrepreneurial Skills Can And Definitely Will Open The Door To Tons Of Potential Marketing Opportunities And Or Possibilities!
B.) Extremely time sensitive bonus # two: The CPA will offer all the runner ups, two potential free bonuses worth X.They can either get an extremely time sensitive free, 45 -60 minute, one on one power consultation, valued at X.
Or they can get the free power consultation, plus an additional hour free, simply by giving away five of your extremely time sensitive gift certificates, to other local business owners/service providers.
Typically at least 50% of them will set and keep their initial appointment, and you’ll usually convert at least 50% of those appointments, into initial first time customers!
