Why You Really Need To Stop Overlooking These Three Simple Marketing Techniques!

So entrepreneur is just plain old human nature or are we just obstinate when it comes strategically implementing some battlefield tested marketing techniques? Seriously, “why” is practically every cash starved and or struggling small business owner and or service providers, first knee jerk reaction to try and re-invent the wheel (as it relates) to successfully implementing some simple proven, low cost high powered marketing strategies, as opposed to trying to be a pioneer!

Some of  us (and sadly) at times including yours truly! Just can’t resist wanting to waste time and other precious resources trying to be viewed as some sort of creative trail blazer, instead of a successful small business owner and or service provider!

Perhaps that mystery will be solved on another day! Anyway, let’s focus (instead) on the task at hand…. And that being:

   Why You Really Need To Stop Overlooking These Three Battlefield Tested Marketing Techniques!

Entrepreneur, you keep saying you’re serious about earning more money right? And you say that you’d really like to work smarter, not just harder correct? Well, “how” in the world do you explain or justify constantly overlooking these three incredibly simple marketing techniques?

Especially when they’re so darn non techie and practically go hand in hand with what you’ve already put in place up til now!

1.) Proven marketing technique #one: Entrepreneur, unless you sell an outrageously expensive product or service and you can get by simply by selling one person that one extremely expensive item to each customer only once! You need to start routinely bribing your best (most loyal) customers, to keep them coming back for more!

For ex: suppose you run the local non franchised printing shop. Why not create a special offer where (all) your customers can buy one sided 8.5 x 11 single  copies at your actual cost for the next year! Say what

Think about it for a second. They’ll load up on your offer alright! In fact, let’s hope they down right abuse it for the next twelve months! But as they’re doing that, guess what? That just means they’ll  be frequenting your shop a lot! And you can bet they’ll bring other (more expensive) printing jobs every now and then too!

In fact, if you’re savvy! What you need to do is make the other more expensive projects saving predicated on them being a part of you special twelve month offer!

2.)  Proven marketing technique #two: This next one is (potentially) huge! So let’s take a look at this incredibly powerful marketing strategy, by using a simple (yet) hypothetical  strategic alliance partnership scenario. Suppose Walmart &  Geico Insurance combine their considerable resources and watch (potentially) “what’s” possible!

Entrepreneur, in order for you to really benefit -conceptually- from this specific  example, you need to be able see past the specific examples and see the overall marketing concepts.

That being said; instead of Geico (or deep pocketed -and marketing savvy- corporate company X) is currently spending a proverbial ton of money on millions and millions of dollars on the outrageously expensive traditional advertising mediums like national TV, radio and billboard ads etc.

Instead Geico is going to leverage (both Walmart (and) Targets daily foot traffic! Here’s how; Geico will strategically place huge displays all throughout Target and Walmart stores and offer car owners a chance to enter a free monthly drawing.

Each month one extremely lucky car owner will win a gas card that’s good for a $10,000 dollar credit!

Say what?  No purchase necessary to win by the way! And fifty runner ups-second place winners- will win a $1,000 dollar gas card!

And fifty third place winners will win a $500 dollar gas card. And (both) Walmart and Target, not to be out done! They’re only collecting a freaking huge opt in email/mobile messaging list!

And they will also be running some outrageous in store promotions too! Like giving their women subscribers 80% off any cosmetics purchases over $50 dollars or X! For one week!

And guys get 75% off any electronic purchases over $50 dollars or X off, for one week! Think about “what’s” really happening here! For these for short term sales promotions, those extremely happy customers, become 24 hour walking billboards!

 Create Powerful Marketing Campaigns That Continue Long After The Actual Promotions End!

So even when Target or Walmart isn’t wasting away a fortune on traditional ad campaigns, their promotions (extremely) happy customers are still working overtime for them. Because they’re constantly posting on Facebook and tweeting their extremely good fortunes!

3.)  Proven marketing technique #three: Just to piggyback off the last concept, Both Target and Walmart will joint venture their opt in list, with one of the top local car repair services and the car repair service will credit them with 25% of all the business they close, as a direct result of the subscribers purchasing through Target or Walmart’s affiliate links!
