Or if they do, it’s only very briefly, broadly and way too generically, in order to be of any real benefit to you and I! Let’s find out!

Ladies & gentlemen (please) make no mistake about it! While you can plow as much energy and other extremely valuable resources into strategically building you very own (on or offline) list that you want. And that’s certainly a very wise and prudent thing to do. The sad fact of the matter is, that unless you also adequately address the flip side of the marketing coin with equal vigor and tenacity etc!
In the end, you will still lose big time! And be totally frustrated to boot! So “what” prey tell is this (so called) other side of the marketing coin, that unless you aggressively address it, you’re going to continue to struggle mightily online! Very simply! Drum roll please!
It’s good old fashion “subscriber retention!” Huh? Bingo! My friend all the proven (on or offline) power listing 101 strategies in the world (both now) and still to come, are virtually meaningless, if the vast majority of your opt in subscribers,(for whatever reasons) don’t stick around very long! And whined up unsubscribing! Don’t you agree?
Why You Simply Must Constantly Develop Some Hopefully Low Cost Battlefield Tested Strategies For Keeping The Vast Majority Of Your Opt In Subscribers On Your List!
Now then; quickly picking up where part three left off. Let’s get back to our (hypothetical) marketing example of the local high end women’s boutique shop, ( or retail company X) which started running ads and strategically placing signs inside their store as well.
Plus strategically using their Facebook fan page to advertise (the fact) they’re currently looking for (at least) 500 local aspiring young models, (18 and over) to promote their designer clothing, shoes, perfumes, jewelry and other really cool accessories as well!
And the women would basically be compensated with all the above (either) free, and or by being able to purchase certain items at the boutiques actual cost!
Now first of all, before we cover “how” this particular upscale women’s boutique (and or you) will be able to consistently retain the vast majority of their opt in subscribers.
Let’s first (dip) our hypothetical example, in a little real world marketing reality first. What da ya say? First, there is simply no earthly way possible that, (a bare bones) minimum of 500 local young aspiring actresses 18 and over, will all decide to stick around and be a part of “whatever” the entire master plan of the boutique ultimately is! Agreed!
Next, (typically) the boutique can and should count on the steady active participation of 10-35% of the 500 youngsters. Give or take. So let’s say 30%, which means (on average) about 150 of these young women will be on board to ride this modeling thing out as far as they possibly can! (500 x .30% = 150 steady participants on some level.)
Ethically Bribing Your Opt In Subscribers Is A Surefire Way To Keep Them Around!

However, (hopefully) not to be lost in the long term marketing sauce. All 500 (or X number of) women, will initially be (not only allowed) , but highly encouraged as well, to purchase up to their first $1,00 dollars worth of designer dresses, jewelry, shoes, perfumes and bracelets etc; at the boutiques actual cost!
Why you so skeptically ask? Where’s the potential profit from selling something at your actual cost? Very simply my friend, don’t forget that at the end of the day, that boutique (or your business) will still have 500 or so extremely enthusiastic sales reps interacting with all types of other potential short and long term customers, from now on!
And oh yes, they’ll be taking more than their fair share of selfies and posting pictures galore on Facebook and tweeting about it, and constantly posting on Instagram and Pintrest etc! And bragging to their closest friends and family members, including in laws, left and right! Don’t you agree?
Positive Word Of Mouth Advertising And Or Promoting Doesn’t Have To Be Outrageously Expensive When It’s Done Correctly!

And when (not if!) those other ladies “who” are relatives, co-workers, Moms, grandmothers,in laws, neighbors, friends and or associates etc; want to know where or “how” they got those really cool X’s! Guess where they’ll direct them! You got that right!
Now here’s where the strategic “subscriber retention” strategies really start to kick in, and potentially pay huge dividends going forward! For literally years and years to come! The boutique will gladly offer every potential model applicant that applies, a 10% lifetime discount on any items in the store from now on! Not too bad an incentive right?
But, they can get 25% off their lifetime purchases (from ) their in store purchases only, every time they bring a brand new first time customer with them, that’s 18 and over! Provided, they’re also still an active opt in email (and or) text message subscriber at the time of each purchase! Bingo! Any questions?
Is it finally starting to make perfect marketing sense “how” and “why” you’d better take the time to also invest your hard earned money, and marketing efforts in some good old fashion, battlefield tested “subscriber retention” strategies as well! Say yes!
So effective, long term email marketing, has absolutely nothing to do with replicated pre -written follow up messages, does it? Agreed!
