For the most part you should probably avoid your traditional mass marketing strategy at all costs. Because typically it’s far too expensive. And untargeted to boot. That’s why you definitely wanna avoid those outrageously expensive, dismally performing local billboard ad campaigns.
The money you waste using untargeted mass marketing. Could easily be used to both build your laser targeted opt in email list. As well as relatively inexpensively build your targeted customer base as well.
Otherwise you could end up doing neither. But still ultimately be out a ton of money. Ever been there?
There Are A Ton Of Proven Ways To Utilize Various Types Of Incentive Programs!
Ladies & gentlemen take a look at the feature image above. A group of volunteers of some kind. And just depending on what particular cause they’re supporting.
Let’s say they’re volunteers for a local 10K run of some kind. Like maybe a women or men’s annual run of some kind. Where a large group of local men and women come together annually. And run to raise money for some incredibly popular cause of some kind.
Think about the 100-200 men & women who volunteer to serve water or do whatever. Think about “how” local men and women these local volunteers will personally come in contact with during these local runs.
So “how” many compliments do you think the lady volunteers will get. While they’re strutting around with a pair of your $450 dollar diamond studded earrings on? 😀 (Plus constantly posting on social media too. 😎
Of course your actual hard costs are typically 50% or less. So why don’t you or your major competitors. Allow them to put a glorified deposit down of 225. (In reality) your actual hard cost.
Create And Implement Your Sales Growth Strategies And Watch Your Bottom Line Gross Profits Soar!
Create an army of local, walking talking billboards. Because once these annual events are over. And these local volunteers return to their respective personal and professional inner circles. And their peer group sees their their awesome looking bling. You know at least some of them will definitely wanna know how they can get hooked up too, correct?
So why not at least inexpensively test creating a contest. Where each month. Each male or female volunteer. Who has the most of your extremely time sensitive, one or two sided gift certificates/discount coupons.
Side “A” invites the recipient to join you or your major competitors opt in email list. So they can enter you or your major competitors outrageously popular monthly or quarterly free drawing.
Where each month or quarter. The volunteer who has the most coupons redeemed. They automatically win a $2,000 or X dollar credit. To be used as credit against any future purchases of your jewelry or retail appliances.
Your Local Community Is Loaded With A Ton Of Potentially Valuable Non Traditional Sales Reps! (Just Waiting To Ethically Bribed For Their Productivity!)
And each month or quarter the 2nd runner up. They automatically win a $1,00 dollar credit toward future purchases. Now of course you or your major competitors had to have a realistic idea of what your ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics are.
Otherwise your marketing or promotional strategies may cause you to quickly or ultimately become financially upside down. (Unfortunately it happens far more often than you may think or realize.)
So let your major competitors keep wasting a fortune. Using outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising or promotional strategies and tactics.
Instead you proactively look for and remain open for the countless opportunities to put some type of mass marketing strategy to grow either. Your non traditional sales force. Your overall bottom line. Or to strategically build various long term JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners. Ultimately the choice is yours.
