Maybe It’s Time You Embraced A Non Traditional Brand Development Strategy!

Honesty. How much real thought have you actually given to both initially developing and nurturing a proven brand development strategy? You really should you know. Because when or as soon as you do.

You or your major competitors will quickly come to realize and appreciate two critically important things. First unlike your major competitors. You definitely don’t need. In the beginning anyway.

An outrageously large corporate advertising or promotional budget in order to get the ball rolling. And two you don’t need an army of extremely satisfied customers. Instead you can and definitely should leverage your individual customers personal and professional inner circles.

Because these are the men and women they confide in the most and the most often. Both on and off of social media. And that’s definitely what you want, right? If so this is the proven process you at least want to inexpensively test.

Are You Finally Starting To Appreciate How Developing And Nurturing A Brand Development Plan Can Easily Separate You From Thee Pack?

Case in point. Let’s say your incredibly popular women-s cosmetic distributorship. Meaning your company doesn’t actually make (manufacture) the products. You just expertly market and promote them after they’re created.

This being the case. You or your major competitors decide to inexpensively test a side by side strategic A/B split test promotion. Rather than go the outrageously expensive corporate promotion route.

Instead you reach out to one of your areas top female commercial real estate brokers. Primarily because her industry gives you or your major competitors both direct and indirect access to other potentially profitable individuals and industries.

Which also has more than it’s fair share of local affluent and influential women. Like mortgage brokers, CPA ‘s , CFP’s, title companies. Layers and highly visible law firms which specialize in real estate related closings. Local banking and credit union firms etc.

And the real marketing/promotional key here is. (As far as you or your major competitors is concerned anyway.) Every one of the previously mentioned industries. Has or soon will have at least a few extremely high placed local women in major positions in those industries. Agreed? Absolutely.

Now let’s take a look at parts two and three of your long marketing/promotional strategy.

You Or Your Major Competitors Will Definitely Standout With The Right Market Tested Brand Development Process!

So you have the female commercial real estate broker initially approach the owner(s) of the three largest commercial buildings she (meaning her firm) currently manages.

And here’s what you or your major competitors initially propose. Every female secretary or female receptionist or female office manager in the buildings. You or your major competitors will gladly allow them.

For an extremely limited time. Like maybe 72 or X amount of hours. Provided they drag a friend with them to your store. Whose at least 18. They get to purchase one of your most popular 64 oz. bottle fragrances. Which usually retails for at least $575 dollars per bottle.

But as a positive word of mouth and mouse generating ethical bribe. They only pay your actual hard cost of X. Say what? But if for whatever reasons they decide to come alone. They only save 10% off of a 32 oz. bottle. Which typically retails for $189 dollars.

Plus simply for joining either your opt in email or text message list and for dragging a semi qualified friend with them. She also gets two free extremely time sensitive gift certificates to an incredibly popular women’s deluxe facial treatment center.

Each facial treatment usually retails for $47 dollars each. Combined it’s a $94 dollar value. If she goes alone. She only saves 10% off the current retail price at the time of redemption.

This ought to make it more than worth their while to drag a semi qualified friend with them. Don’t you agree?

This Is The Type Of Proven Brand Building Plan You Can Leverage! (Over And Over Again!)

Rest assured at least some of women who work or own their own business or service. And they’re currently located inside these buildings. They’ll definitely take advantage of such an extremely time sensitive generous offer. Don’t you agree? And when they do. Over time. You can best believe. They’ll be constantly sharing their goodwill.

Both of and off of social media. They’ll share it with their current and future co-workers. Their current and future neighbors. They’ll tell their closest relatives, in laws, closest girlfriends etc.

And this is “how” you or your major competitors brand will go viral. For literally pennies on the dollar. And as new tenants sign leases in the building. Those females will also inexpensively become aware of you or your major competitors brand. Right? No doubt.

And as older tenants move on to other local commercial buildings. The women in those other commercial buildings will get inexpensively exposed to you or your major competitors great smelling fragrances.

And some on and so forth. You’ll start to systematically generate more and more positive word of mouth and mouse buzz.  For literally pennies on the dollar. And therefore systematically generate more and more first time customers. Some of whom will ultimately convert into some extremely loyal- long term repeat customers. Bingo.

At this point. Are you finally starting to appreciate the value of initially developing and nurturing a long term brand development strategy? I sincerely hope so.

  1. More smart tips here Mark. I am SO non-traditional in most of what I do. I remain true to my values and focus on creating and connecting – fairly fundamental in the branding world – but my methods deviate wildly from convention, in some cases. I need to listen to my heart because when I do, I am good and when I do not, I am screwed LOL. Rocking post brother.
