Here’s a really interesting story about this particular post. You see that headline. And it’s 83.33% score. A colleague of mine. (A very brilliant, seasoned and extremely resourceful entrepreneur.)
His name is Eric Giguere. That’s his Linkedin profile link BTW. Recently while he and I were in a extremely high level training. He was kind enough to share the link to this software.
Which analyzes your headlines you type into the text box. And based on whatever specific criterion the software is designed to use. You and I and or your major competitors get your headline analyzed.
(I’m currently only using the free version BTW. (And I don’t know if it has a daily or monthly limit of how many times you can use it for free within a given time.)
But this springboards us into how to get more for less. Does it not?

First of all I have to share this sort insider scoop info with you. After Eric shared the link in the chat. While we were in this high level training.
This isn’t the first headline I wrote. The 1st few I typed into the headline analyzing software. I actually wrote four or five of them.
And the best one got a 71.43 % rating. And several of the rest of them consistently averaged in the low to mid 30’s. (Hey, you gotta live in the real world, correct?
So I made a screenshot image of it. And created a post for Linkedin out of it.
And this is where it starts to get very interesting.
These Types Of Promotional Strategies Literally Open The Door To Creating Opportunities!
So the post I originally posted on Linkedin. The headline I used for the example. When I took the screenshot image. The 1st and last letters of the last word.
Were too long. to use as the featured image. For this particular blog post. So I decided to shorten by removing two words.
And when I re-typed the newly revised headline into the text box.
The shortened, revamped headline. It generated the 83.33% rating you see. Say what? (The first powerful and potentially profitable marketing lesson.)
Entrepreneur this is a real world case study example. Of the long term profit generating potential of strategically A/B split testing.
For whatever reasons, main power headline B. Generated an 11.90% higher rating. (83.33 – 71.43% = 11.57%.)
This Is How And Where You Can And Definitely Should Systematically Take Things To The Very Next Level Or Two!
To sort of put things in their proper marketing perspective. Imagine you and or your major competitors did a local, direct snail mail post card mailing.
You mailed out 5,000 pieces of mail. Twice, or two 5,000 piece mailings. (After you paid for the not exactly cheap typesetting and postage, correct?
So direct snail mailing “A” generated 714.30 responses. Or a very respectable 14.29% response rate. (714.3 divided by 5,000 = a 14.29% response.
Direct snail mail post card campaign number “B.” It generated an even more respectable 16. 67%. (833.3 divided by 5,000.(Both final values multiplied by 100 BTW.)
This Is What Makes Strategic A/B Split Testing So Potentially Profitable!
Direct snail mail post card ad campaign “B” actually delivered an additional 2.38% higher response, correct? Which means an additional 119 recipients responded more to mailer “B” than mailer “A.”
(833.3 – 714.3 = 119. And since this is a hypothetical example. Strictly for demonstration purposes only. Let’s say 30 or X% of those 119 actually spent $147 dollars or X.
30% of 119 equals an additional 35.70 or an additional 35 sales at $147 each. That equals an additional $5,145 dollars, correct? (35 x $147 = $5,145.)
Which might mean the difference between barely breaking even. Breaking even, losing money and or making a front end profit of some kind.
