(And Stop Letting Potentially Lucrative Opportunities Slip Through Your Fingers!)
So who here. That owns or currently plans on owning some type of retail store. Has a problem with putting the grand opening back into grand opening?
In other words ladies & gentlemen. Are you for systematically and relatively inexpensively scaling your long term gross profits. Or not?
When’s the last time you actually attended any type of local grand opening? Remember all of the excitement and positive word of mouth and mouse buzz it created?
What If Scaling Your Efforts Turns Out To Be Both Fun And Potentially Lucrative!
Profit wise, it definitely makes sense to maximize your financial productivity? The following hypothetical marketing strategies or tactics,
Which are used illustration purposes only. I recently saw this up close and personal. A big box store had a rather well publicized Grand Opening.
And as you can well imagine. The night before. A ton f younger shoppers. Predominantly ages 20-35-ish. Were lined all over their parking lot. Started lining up about 3 am. Until the store actually opened at 8 am.
Now if I (either!) Owned this particular retail store. Or if I were the head manager of it. I would have got corporate head quarters. To try and get permission to market and promote the quick turn event.
Into a perpetual, positive word of mouth & mouse goldmine.
Why Not Monetize Your Momentum?
So here’s one of the incredibly simple ways. (I or you!) Could invest a fraction of the allotted traditional ad/marketing/promotional budget. To create a perpetual avalanche. Of viral, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz.
After I got the okay from corporate headquarters. One of the local. non franchised pizza shop owners.
Would have showed with at least 25-40 or X number of boxes of piping hot pizza. (Whatever the actual number which is needed.) So everyone there. Could get at least two slices each.
And if the pizza shop owner wasn’t necessarily extremely marketing savvy. The store manager would have suggested. The pizza shop owner give every person there.
Who wanted it. A single or double sided index card. They bring with. (Obviously the more modern owners would have an app these local customers could download.)
But going forward. They can save !% off any and every order. And they bring the filled out card with them to the pizzeria. And simply because write their birthday on it. (Just the month and the day ladies. Not the year! )
And or either their birthday or wedding anniversary, or both. They only pay the actual hard cost of whatever they purchase. The card is laminated.
And on the pizza shops traditionally slowest days of the week and or season etc. Xtra large sodas or X can be purchased at the shops owners actual hard cost.
Just Keep Your Eyes Open For Some Incredibly Simple Ways To Over Deliver!
These incredibly simple marketing strategies. Will definitely most definitely build some long term repeat customer loyalty.
For literally pennies on the dollar. Don’t you agree? Coming up very shortly in part two. You and or your major competitors will discover.
