Ladies & gentlemen it’s definitely not an exaggeration to suggest strategic email marketing campaigns can and will give you or your major competitors a decided edge. But truth told you do have to at least understand and implement the proven basics.

Which means you have to get over the idea that simply having a paid email service provider of some kind and periodically sending out both pre- written email sequences.

And occasionally sending out previously unscheduled “broadcast” email messages without strategically A/B split testing your emails subject lines.

Or without writing the body copy in terms of the overall benefits to your ideal prospects or customers. Or without adding effective, benefit orientated P.S’s or strategically utilizing CTA’s, (Call To Action) somewhere in each email message.

Or without sending pre-written tone setting and expectation orientated ‘”welcome” email message (s) to your new subscribers. Then just having a paid email account is not necessarily an advantage. Don’t you agree?

Aweber (along with other) reputable paid email service providers will also host your stand alone, fully functional landing pages (aka) capture pages at no additional charge. Even with their limited free accounts too.

And by fully functional, this simply means once you publish your landing pager. Aweber provides you with a not so nice URL (web address.) So you really should purchase, or if you already have a non utilized web address you can use to redirect the traffic to. (And preferably one with a dot.com or dot.net extension.

So when they type in your other or new more conventional web address. (Like the yogacenter.com) That traffic then redirects to Aweber (or the other reputable) paid email service providers web address for your stand alone, fully functional landing page.

So What’s The So Called Big Advantage Of Using Email Marketing?

So glad you asked. First of all, notice the two sample stand alone fully functional landing pages. Unlike a sign up form which you or your major competitors could place in the side bar widget area of your stare of the art WordPress blog or ecommerce site.

The only purpose of your stand alone landing page is to capture your visitor/potential prospects name, (but far more importantly!) their primary or most used email address.

This way until or unless they unsubscribe, you or your major competitors can systematically send them follow email drip campaigns. Plus the occasional unscheduled “broadcast” messages.

Like if demand warrants adding an additional beginners or intermediate class. You can strategically (segment) your lists (only with your paid account BTW.) But you could send every new or current subscriber whose “tagged” (labeled) with beginner or intermediate.

But they still haven’t signed up for a free or discounted class just yet. You can send them extremely time sensitive relevant information. Which based off whichever level they currently signed up under.

Think about “how” many times you subscriber to a marketers list for a specific reason. Yet their emails seem to lump you in with a much larger group. And more than likely you end up either not purchasing anything or ultimately unsubscribing, right?

Entrepreneur For The Most Part Your Major Competitors Are Not Maximizing Their Email Marketing Efforts! (If They’re Strategically Utilizing Email Marketing At All!)

First of all notice the two sample stand alone, fully functional landing pages featured above. Notice how one has a video and the other one doesn’t. One of your strategic A/B split test could be to purchase two separate, yet relevant domain names. This way you can create at least least two separate landing pages. And in this particular, (hypothetical marketing illustration example only.) Label “tag” one with video. This way as you periodically change (test) your copy of the specific landing pages. You know which one, (if either) landing page is resonating most with your ideal target market.

Or maybe one of your stand alone landing pages offers three or X number of free 90 or X number of minutes yoga sessions. For the 1st grand prize winner. And one free 90 minute class for the second grand prize winner. But only if they drag a friend with them whose at least 18 and not a currently member of the studio.

And the third grand prize winner wins one free 90 minute class. But the ‘tag” you use to separate/identify these particular subscribers is “free drawing.” And this way each separate follow up campaign can and definitely should be customized differently. Don’t you agree?
