How Top Local Businesses Rock Email Marketing Without Relying On Their Websites To Do So!Part Two

Now as you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series, power email marketing strategies and tactics, is not only reserved for the big time gurus and or guruettes! Right? And while it may help if your company is an extremely deep pocketed  fortune 500 outfit, that certainly is not a requirement.Would you not agree?

Sure, if you happen to be one of those power broker online marketers that personally has your very own opt in email list of (a cool) 250,00 plus subscribers and (at least) four other major players you know, also happen to have an opt in email list of the same size or larger!

You can put together some type joint venture list swap arrangement and virtually guarantee a ton of eyeballs on whatever it is you’re currently promoting. And you’ll probably earn a few bucks in the process. But what about the rest of us mere mortals.

Just because we can’t play at that particular level just yet, is that any reason not to get in the game entirely? Hope not! Effective email marketing is not about whether or not you’ve got personal access to to ten’s of thousands or hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

Instead, it really has more to do with how well you can effectively meet the ongoing needs of your target audience.

 So How Do Top Local Businesses Consistently Rock Their Email Marketing Campaigns Without Relying On Their Web Pages Ranking High In The Search Engines In Order To Do So!

Quickly recapping part one: (as you recall) a popular local furniture store, didn’t just rely on their outrageously expensive, traditional advertising campaigns, in order (to both) consistently generate new first time customers and or highly targeted traffic to their WordPress website (s) and or blogs etc.

Instead, they consistently use a combination of proven strategies and tactics in order to build their on and offline databases and generate new and repeat sales by the droves.

Case in point: as soon as their first time opt in subscriber joins their VIP opt in email list. And or text message database,they automatically are re-directed to short seven minute introductory video, that explains at least ten of the major benefits the subscriber will receive, just for making such a wise decision!

For ex: without repeating all of the other seven benefits that were previously mentioned in part of this ongoing series; here at three more incredibly beneficial reasons for them to  join your VIP opt in email list.

During your seven minute intro video, you can also point out that least once every quarter (every three months), you will be holding a raffle on all or some particular furniture that was recently repossessed! (How cool is that, for producing positive on or offline word of mouth and mouse buzz!)

It’s Far Easier And Way Less Expensive To Send An Email To An Opt In Subscriber Than It Is To Use Outrageously Expensive Mass Marketing To Generate Your Very First Customer Or Client!

And only your VIP opt in email subscribers are eligible to enter. Hmm? Imagine “how” the rest of your customers will feel if they don’t join your VIP opt in email list asap!  So say for example, you had to repossess a $3,700 dollar Master bedroom set in February.

Which means, it will be entered into March’s $500 dollar raffle. So the display in your showroom will have a big giant sign making everybody aware of “what” all your non subscribers are potentially missing out on! And here’s the other thing, for just $50 dollars more per entrant , (for a grand total of $550 dollars each), all the runner ups will automatically be entered into an exclusive free drawing to win a 40 inch flat screen TV!

Now (of course) your thinking is; instead of spending a fortune on wasted and hopelessly half performing mass advertising mediums such as local radio and TV ads etc.

You can create far more effective positive word of mouth buzz, by letting your best customers win a 40 inch flat screen TV for just $50 dollars! You really think the winner won’t be  constantly bragging, tweeting, posting on both Facebook and Instagram, and telling everybody they come in  contact with about their extreme good fortune!

You gotta be freaking kidding me! Right?

Plus, you’ll also have periodic free drawings for all your subscribers on Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Xmas and new years!

You’ll also have periodic private (closed to the general public) pre showings for your incoming spring and fall collections. And it will by email invitation only! These are the type of proven marketing activities that will definitely grow your business and produce tons of positive (on and offline)  word of mouth publicity as well! Don’t you agree?

    Excellent information.

    Gosh, I can’t believe how back in the days when I was in network marketing I purchased a list and it was the first and last time I ever made that mistake. I don’t even understand why people buy lists. They suck.

    Now email marketing is great, because to start with, the person who ends in your list has shown enough interest in your stuff to opt-in. After that it’s our job to build that relationship with them and go from there.

    I’m still working on my list and need to improve my communications with it, but it’s getting better.

  2. Mark – Email marketing is huge, especailly for small business. In my local city there is client of a friend of mine that owns a pizza place. We have about 15 or so pizza places with a city of around 90k people so the competition is tight. My friends client does something very similar, what he does is free pizza for a family of 4 for a year! He gained over 500 email sign ups and says that profits have shot up big time because so many people heard about signing up. These emails are are local people! Great example you have and amazing how powerful this type of marketing is!
