Practically anywhere you look these days. On or offline. You will notice the ultimate power of partnerships at play. Have you also noticed this not so subtle trend? And why not?
Because it definitely makes sense. Especially over the long term. Would you not agree? On the one hand. Who would possibly be against not only systematically saving a ton of up front out of pocket cost over time?
But simultaneously leveraging other non directly competing vendors. take your pick. Their credit, real world experiences. Their opt in email subscribers. Their VIP customers or VIP JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners connections or long term customer goodwill etc.
Those few benefits alone. Make exploring the awesome profit generating potential power of partnerships. Don’t you agree?
Entrepreneur You Simply Can’t Possibly Say Enough About The Profit Generating Advantages Of Strategic Alliances!
From the 30,000 foot overview perspective. Think about the multi billion dollar movie industry. If ever an industry truly benefited from the power of partnerships. That one is definitely it.
First of all, You have the mega studios. Then you have highly influential and successful production companies involved. And let’s not forget the “A” list directors and “A” list actors & actresses.
The production and distribution companies. The savvy toy manufactures. Who are only too happy to partner their brands with internationally recognized fast food brands.
Successful book publishers want to piggyback off major brands as swell. And some of Hollywood’s top talent. Routinely get deals negotiated. Where they not only receive 8 figure paydays on the initial front end.
But they also set up outrageously lucrative back end paydays as well. 😀
Thank Goodness Systematically Forming Potentially Profitable Partnerships! (Is Not Just Available To The Mega Corporations!)
Remember a couple of posts back? A successful women’s lingerie store. They held a free drawing. And the 1st grand prize winner. (In our strictly hypothetical example. Being used for marketing illustration purposes only. 😀 )
They enticed their daily female with the chances to win $2,000 or X amount of dollars worth extremely sexy lingerie. 😀 (Of course their actual hard cost is typically half or slightly less.)
And let’s say over the course of two years. Even after 13% for whatever reasons. Decided to unsubscribe. But an impressive 23,573 are still on their lists.
Entrepreneur, if you were (or are!) An independently owned retail jeweler. Would you or “why” would you object to the lingerie store owner(s.)
Sending either a single or series of extremely time sensitive “broadcast” email messages to either their entire list. Or a specific segment of their list.
This Is How And Where Low Cost Email Marketing Campaigns! (Can And Definitely Will Give You Or Your Major Competitors The Edge!)
For just a creative marketing second. Consider the long term marketing possibilities. And let’s do so from both profit seeking vendors perspectives.
1.) The single or multi location, independently owned lingerie store owners perspective: Since the lingerie owner has invested both time, money & effort to systematically build and maintain/nurture their opt in email subscriber base.
And their subscribers definitely know, like and trust them, correct? When they email them an extremely time sensitive. First time customer only discount coupon.
Or an extremely time sensitive “closeout inventory” sale alert. And a flood of customers who are also being ethically bribed to drag a friend with them. Whose at least 18.
And the retailer is so used to having to constantly waste a fortune. On outrageously expensive, hit & miss traditional ad campaigns. And since they already know their ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics.
Perhaps it makes perfect sense for them to JV revenue with the lingerie owner(s.) By compensating them at least 25% of their front end gross profits. While they systematically pocket 100% of all the long term repeat sales. The video & audio testimonials. Plus any and all future referrals. 😀
And Now The Flip Side! (Which Is Potentially Just As Lucrative!)
2.) The independently owned retail jewelers perspective: Think about the positive word of mouth and mouse buzz. Which will constantly be generated for the lingerie owner(s.)
When some of their very best. And most loyal customers, take to social media. Constantly bragging like crazy. Plus perpetually showing off their extremely eye catching bling. 😎
What ‘if” 1,500 locals flood into the retail jewelers shop. And purchase some awesome looking bling at a discount. And now they’re constantly being questioned by their. Co-workers, besties, in-laws, siblings, neighbors, daughters and employees etc. 😎
All that additional free viral marketing exposure. For literally pennies on the dollar.
(And of course they’re going to hook up both the lingerie owner(s) and all of their current & future employees. And b y extension their VIP vendors too! 😎 )
Entrepreneur if you still can’t see the potential power of partnerships. Shame on you! and you definitely deserve to choke on your major competitors marketing smoke!
