Is there anything (that you) can think of, that’s scarier than an extremely cash poor service provider, struggling to figure out, how to improve retail sales, especially in a really bad, competition intense economy?

Because it’s one thing when your potential new customers and or (otherwise) steady clients, don’t have as much discretionary income as usual, but it’s a completely different set of challenges, when your market share suddenly shrinks, because of increased, new better capitalized competition.

Face it, if your particular niche shows any re searchable signs of being profitable. Then it’s simply a matter of time before (any number of) brand new competitors of all sizes, eventually want a piece of the pie as well.

Just depending on what specific type of service that you currently provide, what exactly have you been doing during your (so called) traditional slow periods. If you’re like most non direct response type of marketing orientated service providers.

You probably (unfortunately) try and generate new customers, by paying retail advertising prices, in order to do so! Big mistake! For at least two reasons.

1.) First, as was previously mentioned, on average you’ll pay at least 500% more, to create a brand new first time customer, using outrageously expensive traditional advertising mediums, such as local TV &  radio, and or expensive newspaper display ads etc.

2.) And you’ll most certainly be thrust head long into a price cutting bid war, due to the ever increasing competition! Which will (either) drastically reduce what little upfront profit margins you may have had, and or eliminate them altogether! Either way you’ll eventually lose!

That being the case, why not instead try the more tried, tested and proven method, involved in this powerful three prong marketing strategy.

 How To Improve Retail Sales In Your Service Business! (With These Three Proven Long Term Marketing Strategies!)

These low cost proven marketing strategies, will most definitely give your business that much needed edge, in your local market place, provided you execute them properly. Which means (entrepreneur) you have it to inexpensively test and track your results. And adjust your tactics as you go.

1.) First and foremost, get some kind of proactive (incentive based) referral generating program in place, so that you reward (bribe) your best customers and clients for constantly referring you new first time customers! That way only your major competitors are constantly paying retail for those all important first time customers.

Which as you know on average, will run you about 500% more than they need to!

 2.) Your next brain dead key to strategically out promoting your major competitors is to, start proactively using (powerful) bank account filling “edu-marketing.” Huh? In short education based marketing (aka) edu-marketing.

Meaning- if you’re any type of service provider such as: you’re a CPA or Realtor or Broker of any kind or if you sell investments of any kind. Start really paying close attention to the following three major sources of potential research mediums:

A.) Constantly review you or your company’s email inquire-es, looking for a common theme of among the most frequently asked questions and or complaints!

B.) Likewise, constantly review your top five major competitors “FAQ” pages, (frequently asked questions) page. Searching for a common theme of questions and or concerns.

C.) Frequently visit at least three of the main online forums within your industry. Because the questions and main issues and or concerns being raised there, is a major indication that you need to get busy producing at least three forms of powerful, proactive “how to” problem solving information (info) products asap.

How To Improve Retail Sales Through Proactive Education Based Marketing Strategies!

1.)  Create short three to five minute content packed problem solving ‘how to” video tutorials that you can and should be constantly adding to your youtube channel. You might even seriously consider creating multi mini series on various issues and concerns etc.

2.) Create short 3-21 page special PDF (and or) ebook reports, that address various issues and or concerns. And of course, throughout the reports and or ebooks, are your various affiliate links and or links leading to some of your best market tested lead capture pages.

3.) And finally, you or one of your valued associates should constantly be producing various types of audio products as well. Because you can always simply give them a perceived value of some kind, such as this is normally a $27 dollar value! But for an extremely limited time it’s yours free, when you do X, Y or Z!
