(Even Or Especially When You’re Simply not That Social Media Marketing Savvy Just Yet!)
Hopefully after initially reading and re-reading part one of this ongoing series. You now better appreciate how to get the word out about your business or service. For literally pennies on the dollar.
(Especially if or sense you’re simply not that social media marketing savvy yet.) And just in case it’s crossed your creative marketing mind once or twice. You and I definitely don’t need to try and leverage every major iconic brands grand opening events or major product or service launching events etc.
Instead simply by implementing some of the proven, basic marketing or promotional fundamentals. Some potentially profitable, long term marketing success can be achieved. Sound like a plan or what?
So Who Else Is Up For Discovering How To Consistently Generate Some Potentially Profitable Marketing Exposure For Literally Pennies On The Dollar?
Quickly picking up where part one left off. You or your major competitors, non franchised, single location gourmet coffee shop. Decided you would at least attempt to leverage some of these periodic new product release events in your local area.
Major iconic brands like to promote every now and again. So you rent a portable gourmet coffee truck for X amount of hours.
And you show up either early in the morning or later on the night before the major promotional event actually takes place. And as previously mentioned in part one. You expose the faithful to some of your best tasting, either gourmet coffee and or cocoa etc.
But you do so by way of providing them with free Xtra large, plastic “Big Gulp” cups which you and or your major competitors provide. And in order to truly stimulate your long term creative marketing mind.
Let’s say it’s a grand total of 200 of the local faithful. Who are currently camped out. Waiting patiently for their chance to bum rush the store showroom. And as marketing fate would have it.
A staggering 190 of them are avid gourmet coffee or cocoa drinkers.
You Can And Definitely Should Leverage Others Social Media Marketing Presence! (As Often As Possible!)
The moment, (more like the second!) the faithful realize you or your major competitors are enthusiastically passing out free Xtra large plastic “Big Gulp” beverages of their choice.
And that going forward, every time they bring the “Big Gulp” cup with them to you and or your major competitors shop. At least three really cool marketing benefits are constantly showered on them.
First.) Instead of paying the current retail price of $9.99 or X per cup. Now they only pay $2.99 or X.
Second.) On your traditional two slowest days of the week. Every time they bring the “Big Gulp” plastic cup with them on those particular days. They automatically qualify to purchase one bakers dozen at your actual hard cost. Say what?
Meaning they get to purchase one bakers dozen of 13 or x number of muffins, pastries or bagels at your actual hard cost of X. And one other bakers dozen for the current retail price of 12.
You May Not Know And Or Appreciate It Just Yet! (But Entrepreneur You And Or Your Major Competitors Are Literally One Or Two Proven Marketing Strategies Away From Your Proverbial Goldmine!
Third.) If they happen to own their own business and or service. You or one of your best trained cashiers and or managers. Will provide them with X number of your business cards.
And on the back will be a hand written date of no more than three days and or 72 hours. And they can give them to their employees and or best vendors etc.
And the recipients have X number of hours or days to bring the card back to your shop. And “if’ they do so before the hand written date.
They get to start purchasing their “Big Gulp” beverages of their choice, at your current discount incentive price of $2.99 per cup or X. Otherwise, like the general public.
They pay your current retail price of $9.99 the very first time and then thereafter. Every time they bring the cup back with them. They only pay the current discount price of X.
The entire time you and or your major competitors are systematically leveraging your local customers who own their own business or service. This way you inexpensively expose more and more locals to your extremely great tasting beverages and other great tasting goodies.
For literally pennies on the dollar. Now “who” else wants to know how to get the word out about your business or service for literally pennies on the dollar? (Just like the ultimate insiders do.)
