And BTW entrepreneur. As you read and hopefully previously read part one of this ongoing series. The real world, market tested, extremely low hanging fruit marketing strategies and tactics I’m strongly suggesting.
Either you and or your major competitors at least A/B split test to some degree or another. I typically am looking to be compensated on the initial front end. By 25% of every new or additional dollar these proven, extremely low hanging fruit marketing strategies & tactics consistently help you generate.
So worst case scenario. You’re typically only out of your initial front end marketing/promotional cost. Which proposal sounds better to you?
Who Needs Potentially Expensive Marketing Gimmicks? (When Some Good Old Fashion Ethically Bribery Will Easily Do The Job!)
Quickly picking up where part one left off. Take a closer look at the featured image with this particular post. Usually whenever a local, non franchised hair or nail salon is closed. (For whatever reasons.) Both the owner(s) and the stylist.
Usually don’t earn any income, correct? But their bills are still do, are they not? Which may include. (But certainly isn’t limited to. The car payment. Rent, mortgage or condo/townhouse lease payment.
Their car Insurance, cable, cell phone bill. Or their car/truck or SUV periodically needs both gas and periodic maintenance, correct? You throw in constantly rising daycare costs. Clothes or school tuition for their kids etc.
And the more often their primary source of main income is not readily available to them. The more often and tighter they feel the financial squeeze, correct?
Sometimes You Need To Look Past The Initial Service! (In Order To See And Appreciate The Overall Big Picture!)
Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say an extremely marketing savvy, non franchised, local retail appliance center.
Inexpensively tested the following. Instead of wasting another $25- $50 thousand dollars on a combination of outrageously expensive. dismally performing, local billboard, prime time radio, TV or local newspaper ads etc.
They (or you!) Instead initially allocated $15,000 or X amount of dollars in the following manner. They purchased $1,000 or X amount of dollars worth of some of the most popular hair or nail skin care products.
And simply gave them to the nail or hair salon owner(s) for free! Say what? 😀 On the condition. They must give them away or sell them at cost.
To all of their customers who spend over X amount of dollars with them. Sort of like a built in upsell profit generator for them. But through positive, viral word of mouth and mouse marketing exposure.
The customers who spend at least X. They’re totally surprised and extremely pleased about their totally unexpected gift, correct? 😀 The hair or nail salon owner builds additional goodwill among their extremely loyal customer base, right?
Who Ever Heard Of Constant Positive Word Of Mouth Or Mouse Exposure Causing Any Business Or Service To Go Bankrupt!
And of course both the owner(s) of either the hair or nail salons. Along with their current & future stylists. Each receive a total of $100 or X amount of dollars of the top of the line products as well. 😀
And as word quickly and continuously begins to spread both on and off of social media. About the local, non franchised hair or nail salon owners. Who constantly shower their extremely loyal clientele with totally unexpected bonuses worth X.
More local women will definitely want to at least sample these service providers shops, correct? Which definitely means by strategic extension. Even more local ladies with all types of local connections, will receive you or your competitors, extremely time sensitive, best market tested offers.
You’ll systematically continuously build your opt in email lists, right? Their local clientele will continuously grow too, right? and at least a percentage of these local ladies will enthusiastically help spread the word. 😎
And you or your major competitors will inexpensively not only gain new customers for literally pennies on the dollar. But also inexpensively gain both direct and indirect access to their personal & professional inner circles too. How’s that for win/win ladies & gentlemen?
