How to build your list for free and make it a highly responsive one too!

 (And Make Sure That it’s A Highly Profitable One As Well!)

By now you know only too well that you need your very own in house list of some kind, correct? This post will teach you (step by  step) how to build a list for free, and make sure that it pays you for years and years to come.

Even if it’s not that big and your offers aren’t that great. Say what?

The real secret to successfully marketing (long term) online via inexpensive email marketing, is to  first be sure that your products and services are actually targeting the right market.

Of course this sounds relatively simple and straight forward (and it is.) You’d absolutely be  shocked and amazed how many otherwise serious marketers just don’t get it.

Introducing The Number One Reason Why Your List Building Efforts Have Failed! (And How To Correct It!)

Believe it or not the # one reason why your list building efforts are failing is because of two closely related things.

1.) The first reason is: You’re trying to sell products and services to subscribers that aren’t exactly interested in them! Huh?

See, they opted into (joined) your list for reason A – and low and behold (before) you can say “sales pitch” here you come  bombarding them with product or service “B” and it’s not what they want.

Nor do they have any desire to learn more about it. And the net result is (over time) of course, they open less and less of your email or text messages, until they eventually unsubscribe

Which of course eventually leads to less and less sales, not to mention a smaller less responsive opt in list..(Sound all too frighteningly familiar?)

2.) The second reason is:Right out of the gate (meaning) as soon as they opt in, you immediately go after the sales and that’s all you continue to do the entire time they’re on your list.

Not to be misunderstood here. You absolutely should  make some type of (hopefully) low front end (OTO) One Time Only offer. Or some type of -low front end sale- offer the moment your subscriber initially opts in to your list.

Because psychologically, they are an extremely hot lead the moment they opt in.

And you should maximize their forward momentum, because on average about 1-3% of them are extremely open to immediately spending anywhere from $1-$47 dollars without too much resistance.

However, statistically speaking,any price over that amount and they will pause to really consider what their about to do. And 99.5% of the time they will decide against it.

It’s a great and extremely practical question. Basically you should probably create your own opt in email or text message list asap. Or if your business is strictly offline. Then create your own in house data base. Simply by sponsoring (100% financing) your own free drawing.

Give something away. Which your ideal prospects or current customers definitely want. And as long as your first grand prize is high perceived value. But relatively low cost. You’re definitely on the right track.

This next major component sounds so incredibly simple (and  it is), but sadly, it’s where a staggering 98% of the savvy small business owners & service providers go off  the rails, because they typically get this next critical step wrong.

Here’s an incredibly powerful example that one of my online marketing mentors recently brought to my attention.

Picture this: a fire is raging on your block. Better known as the dilemma , or marketing problem desperately in search of an immediate solution.

The home owner(s) watch the fire in total shock. They want their marketing dilemma (the raging fire) solved yesterday.

It just so happens the fire chief lives right up the street. Q.) Does the home owner(s) see the same thing the fire chief see’s as they both stare at the exact same fire?

No way, and there in my friend lies the key. The homeowner(s) desperately need of  a solution to their immediate problem, which of course is, how to put out the fire now!

And the fire chief (has the solution) and now, he or she’s no longer in search of a problem to solve.This situation presents a major successful marketing campaign opportunity.

One fire, but two completely different perspectives.

Make Darn Sure Your Marketing Message Stresses The Benefits (Solution) Your Products Or Services Provide To Your Ideal Prospects Or Customers!

And even though the homeowners (aka the potential prospects) are desperately in need of an immediate solution, if the savvy business owner (aka) the fireman does not properly convey their potential benefit(s) (aka) their solution to the homeowner (aka) the prospect. You’ll both whined up unfulfilled.

Your marketing message has to convey how you solve your prospects problem,regardless of how desperate they may be for an immediate solution.

The process of properly conveying your solution driven marketing message to your ideal prospect(s), will attract them to your business, product or service like a magnet! And it’s how to build a list for free!

Because your power list building 101 efforts will become 500% easier, once you make sure you always present the proper solution to your ideal prospects.No matter what your particular business, product, service or niche is.

And guess what else? You’ll not only build a fabulous list, but you’ll build one that’s 500% more responsive too!

Provided you continuously do two things effectively.

1.) Continue to provide your valued subscribers with valuable, practical how to advice and insights etc.

2.) You make email contacts about 80-90% pure vale and the remainder sales offers.

No Matter What Be Or Become Proactive And Start Building Your Own List! (Whether It’s An Online Opt In Mail List Or An Offline Database Of Some Kind!)
