So who else is definitely up for discovering some proven secret strategies for scaling a service business? Especially if you or your major competitors can systematically do so for literally pennies on the dollar.
Especially if you’re just striking out on your own. And you don’t have the convenience of a corporate 500 type of ad/promotional budget at your immediate disposal.
Maybe that’s a good thing. Because it literally forces you and I to get as creative as you possibly can. Don’t you agree?
Believe It Or Not Profitably Scaling Your Business Or Service Really Does Start With The Right Mindset!
And how you define or differentiate between your various assets and or resources? Say strictly hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. If you’re not proactively building your very own opt in email list.
You’re not only missing on some much easier to bank long term gross profit generating opportunities. Because of you or your major competitors ability to inexpensively follow up with your hottest prospects and best paying customers or clients.
But having inexpensive direct access to both your ideal prospects and customers is an incredibly valuable asset to have. And knowing both “how” and “what to” do with them. Is a much sought after skill you or your major competitors can perpetually monetize in various ways. 😀 Don’t you agree?
Entrepreneur You Gotta Seriously Consider The Overall Benefits Of Partnering!
Now consider your various resources you or your major competitors currently have direct or indirect access to. And it truly depends on how you define what a resource truly is. Some of you don’t but you definitely should consider my self hosted WordPress blog.
And some of the others you frequently read as a potentially valuable resource. In the sense you are more than welcome and invited to write either a single or series of relevant blog posts.
(A word of extreme caution is definitely in order. Entrepreneur please do not approach me about writing either a single or series of guest blog posts. If your particular valuable expertise, service or product(s) have absolutely nothing to do with business or entrepreneurship etc. Just saying. :-D)
But suppose you (meaning the licensed CPA, CFP or estate planner etc.) After you got to know at least one or more of local, non franchised hardware store owners. Or local free real estate guide publishers.
And you can at least inexpensively test the following two relatively low cost marketing strategies and tactics. And double down on the strategies or tactics which work.
And gradually phase out the ones which don’t.
It’s Really Not About The Size Of Your Budget! (It’s More So About How Strategically You Utilize It To Better Serve Your Ideal Audience!)
So you or your major competitors could to pay $50 or X number of dollars toward any local individual who pays at $100 dollars or more for some type of space ad in one of the free, local real estate throwaway guides.
Because if the individual is willing to spend/invest at least $100 dollars or more in some type space ad.
More than likely than probably earn high five figures or more per year. In which case you have the vendor either give them your direct response type of single or double sided business and or index card.
For just a moment put yourself in the place of the recipient(s.) They or you would be completely caught off guard in a positive way, correct? 😀
And your non traditional direct response style one or two sided business and or index card. Would invite recipient to either your lead capture page. To opt in for your free lead magnet giveaway special report. Your problem solving one to three page cheat sheet.
Or invites them to your free or paid calendar. So they can request their free 45-90 minute “Comprehensive Financial Assessment” consultation session. (Just be sure an give it an X dollar perceived value. Because if you don’t value their time. Neither will they. 😎
Don’t Forget About Nor Ignore Your Other Potentially Valuable Non Traditional Resources!
The other potentially valuable relatively inexpensive marketing/promotional strategy you can at least test is. Let either or both the independently owned hardware store owner as well as the free real estate guide publisher(s.)
Giveaway your some of your extremely time sensitive, new customer only gift certificates to other local business owners and or service providers.
Or current or future in laws, closest relatives, besties, siblings and or neighbors etc. They have to be dated and redeemed no longer than 10 or X number of days out. And again offer them a free 45-90 minute session.
You or your major competitors are bound to land at least a few initial customers. Who you can then ethically bribe them for giving you a positive review on their social media account(s.)
Your Local Offline Market Has A Ton Of Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities! (just Waiting To Be Systematically tapped Into By You And Or Your Major Competitors!)
Then branch out and offer either your barber or hair or nail salon owner service providers. Reduced prices on some of your paid services.
So they become both a power testimonial for you. Plus you also offer to pay anywhere from $10-$50 dollars for any particular services they get done.
And the hair or nail salon owner(s) gives their customers one of your best market tested, extremely time sensitive lead generating business and or index cards.
This way they start bragging both on and offline. And both you and the service provider(s) look good in their eyes, correct? 😀 Profit seeking entrepreneur. How’s that for inexpensively scaling a service business? For literally pennies on the dollar.
Who Says Scaling A Business Or Service Automatically Has To Cost A Fortune?
