Isn’t Sad So Many Aspiring Entrepreneurs Don’t Appreciate What A Potentially Profitable Marketing Asset Proven Customer Service Strategies Can Be And Or Become!
So here’s how this first real world case study ends. It seems a typical shopper, at one of the major grocery store chains in town.
The store was near closing. With about ten minutes (or so) to. They typically close at twelve midnight BTW, M- Sun. And they open, M-Sat, 6 am -12 midnight. And 7 am-12 midnight on Sundays.
Apparently, according to the primary front end- on duty manager. They made at least two separate announcements, within 15 minutes of the store closing.(They typically leave about 10-15 minutes of the store officially closes.)
There Are Always Totally Unexpected Opportunities To Wow Your Customer And Or Client Base!
However, this particular customer, nor the assistant store, (overnight) store manager on duty, heard them.(the overnight store managers shift, typically starts at 9 pm – 5:30 am.)
Long story short. When this particular customer, with just over $130 dollars worth of groceries, finally made it to the register, in order to check out.
Much to his obvious dismay.He was told, unfortunately the registers were already closed for the night.Say what?
And he’s forced to not only leave his groceries. But he’s pretty upset, (for obvious reasons),as you can well imagine and fully appreciate, right?
Not so fast. This extremely customer service orientated, assistant store manager, made a snap, pro-active decision, to not only, hopefully salvage this total mishap.
But to successfully demonstrate, how certain, battlefield tested, small business marketing ideas, strategies and or tactics etc.
Can and certainly will, boost your long term profits, exponentially! For literally pennies on the dollar! Here’s how!
This Is Why You Simply Have To Be More Than Willing To Go The Extra Mile Or Two For You Very Best Customers And Or Clients!
This extremely marketing savvy, overnight shift manager.After profusely apologizing to this semi irate customer.
Informed the customer, not only will they gladly, put the customers groceries aside, and temporarily store them in the dairy cooler. Say what? But also put the customer name on the shopping cart.
And when, they early morning, receivers comes in,typically around 5 am.They’ll inform them, about what happened, and the customer will be in, some time between 7 – 9 am, in order to pick their groceries up.
And, this is when, the overnight manager, really earns their stripes. They go get, a ten dollar discount coupon, and give to the customer, for their inconvenience.
Can You See Yourself Consistently Implementing These Types Of Proven Marketing Strategies And Or Tactics?
Can you see, how these really simple, yet basic, take no prisoners,customer service, type of small business marketing strategies and or tactics.
Create extremely satisfied, long term, repeat customers.Who not only come back more often. But continuously tell a ton of people, both on and off of social media. You so got that right.
