Remember in part one of this ongoing series, (entrepreneur), it’s a fact, whether you currently have your very own paid email service provider or not.

(And ultimately, at some point, you definitely should be using some type of paid email service provider,that way you remain in ultimate control of your email marketing campaigns.)

You can still see your business and or service increase it’s overall gross profits.

Simply by forming some type of strategic alliance, (and or alliances) with another non directly competitive vendor,(or vendors) that currently uses opt in email marketing strategies and or tactics. Or mobile marketing strategies as well.

In fact, it’s one of the proven, low cost marketing, boot strapping strategies, you can and definitely should use initially, in order to build your initial customer/client base relatively inexpensively.

However,(entrepreneur) strategic boot strapping,(while cost effective to a point), is definitely not a long term customer/client building strategy!Far from it.

Because you’re relying too heavily, on other vendors various assets. But not necessarily your own!

So Who Else Wants To Know How Some Really Simple Email Marketing Strategies Can Make A Really Big Difference?

So once again, let’s use a semi short term, brand new customer building strategy, involving some form of opt in email/mobile marketing strategies.

Case in point. Let’s use our residential real estate broker again, the one with 15 years experience in their local residential real estate market.

And they’ve developed highly segmented opt in email subscribers, for their various lists.

And let’s say one of their top joint venture partners, runs a fairly successful carpet/upholstery cleaning service.(With plans for expansion in the not so distant future.)

You Definitely Don’t Have To Spend A Ton Of Money Up Front Unless You Really Want To!

And the carpet cleaner, is more than happy, to (routinely) offer the real estate brokers subscribers, flat rate discounts, on an initial room of carpet or upholstery cleaning.

In order to (not only) land some brand new first time customers, but leverage them through referrals and long term repeat business!

Which means, they’re more than relieved, the extremely marketing savvy real estate broker, will periodically send some, (non pre- scheduled), extremely time sensitive “broadcast” email message “alerts” to their various lists.

Offering the semi cash strapped, small business carpet cleaners services to her VIP subscribers.

Thus saving the carpet cleaner (and or savvy marketing vendor X) a ton in conventional, upfront out of pocket, outrageously expensive, traditional advertising expenses, like their major competitors typically spend.

Strategic Email Marketing Campaigns Represent Massive Marketing Leverage!

Again, seeing “how” some of you are (originally) reading this particular post on July 4th.

Imagine the real estate broker, (or other) non competing vendors, sending out (very special) “broadcast” email message/mobile message “alerts” to their subscribers, a week or a few days before the various major holidays,(like the 4th of July!)

And they’re offering, (in this particular case), the carpet cleaners services, with an extremely time sensitive initial room flat rate discount of X!

Or what about this, they email their subscribers, with an extremely time sensitive “Day after the the 4th of July holiday discount” offer!

And this particular offer is for brand new first time customers only!

And every new customer that refers at least one brand new customer, automatically saves 50 or X % off the largest room, or any upholstery they have done, while the carpet cleaner is at their home/apartment etc.

Who Says You Need Your Very Own Paid Email Service Provider in Order To Profit From Strategic Email Marketing!

Here’s the other potential advantage, a semi cash strapped service provider entrepreneur, like a carpet cleaner, could initially take advantage of.

Without necessarily having their own paid email service provider!

Let’s say a local painting contractor, has just started building their very own opt in email/mobile marketing list.

And one of the free inducement incentives, they offer their visitors is a 25% off, brand new customer discount coupon, courtesy of ABC carpet/Upholstery cleaners!

A blank dollar value! And that’s on top of whatever lead magnet inducement they offer their visitors, for joining their list!

Wait a second! I can already hear you screaming! Why in the world, would any profit seeking business owner/service provider, offer another semi competitive vendors discount coupon offer to their leads?

Your Small Business And Or Service Is Only A Few Proven Marketing Strategies Away From Long Term Success!

Because, as the carpet cleaner starts getting business from the real estate brokers VIP subscribers, one of the things they will do, upon completion of the job.

Is ethically bribe their brand new first time customer, (for either) audio and or video testimonials, referrals and or positive mentions on the various social media platforms etc!

And in exchange for their brand new customers generosity, the carpet cleaner will offer some of their best, market tested discount saving coupons.

Plus offer some from other local, non directly competitive vendors, like landscapers, pool cleaners, or painting contractors etc!

And they will carefully explain to these other, (possibly) less marketing savvy vendors, just in case ( it isn’t) already crystal clear to them, by strategically cross promoting each other like this!(As often as possible.)

Who Says Small Business Marketing Strategies Have To Be Outrageously Expensive And Or Super Techie!

They’ll both gain new long term repeat customers, referrals and testimonials, for literally pennies on the dollar!

While their major competitors, constantly struggle to generate brand new first time customers, and continuously pay high end retail advertising or promotional prices, in order to do so!

Entrepreneur, (please) acknowledge, you can now see “how” some strategic email marketing strategies, can play an extremely vital role, (initially anyway.)

In helping cash strapped small business owners, and or service providers, avoid going broke!
