Quickly picking up where part one of this ongoing series left off. Ladies & gentlemen, truth told. You and or your major competitors are probably, only one or two creative marketing strategies away.
from a potential goldmine. But you gotta continuously apply, ( meaning strategically A/B split test the proven marketing/promotional fundamentals. Let’s face it already. The vast majority of your current and future major competitors. They simply will not consistently follow up with “what’s” already proven to work, right? instead they’d rather try and advertise their way to major success.
But they simply don’t have corporate pockets deep enough. So they quickly fizzle out. Long before their outrageously expensive, traditional ad campaigns. Are anywhere near being or becoming profitable. It sounds all too familiar, does it not?
Entrepreneur Don’t Be The Least Bit Shy About At Least Inexpensively Testing Some Of Your Creative Marketing Incentives!
Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Your retail furniture store routinely spends. (Not invests!) anywhere from $40 – $75,000 dollars or X per month. And sometimes even more during the holiday season.
Because more and more one and done newbie advertisers try to get noticed. So the prices get bid up. But you and or your major competitors could at least inexpensively test the follow, extremely low cost, positive word of mouth and mouse marketing strategies and tactics.
Approach a few of your favorite local charities. And ask them to ethically bribe their top ten or top X number of local professionals. Who routinely donate at least X number of hours to the charity. Let’s say strictly for hypothetical marketing purposes only. At least seven local professional men & women meet this particular criterion.
They’re made aware. For routinely doing so. For an extremely limited time, they have qualified to win free of charge. The following master Livingroom set featured in the main image of this post.
But They Have To Meet A Few Additional Conditions First!
They simply have to join the retail furniture stores opt in email list. And they have to pass out at least ten or x number of the furniture stores, best market tested, extremely time sensitive gift certificates to whomever they want to.
And provided at least three or X number of them get renewed before the expiration date expires. They also get to purchase a really nice 32 inch TV. At the retailers actual hard cost.
Keep in mind. This extremely marketing savvy retailer. Already has a pretty darn good idea. “What” their ideal customers, total lifetime customer value metrics are. This way they know going in.
“How” much hey can really afford to invest. In order to generate a first time customer. They could offer to give away X number o state of the art, 32 inch TV’s to the first x number of customers, (referrals though the door!) Who spend at least X. And also join the retailers steadily growing retail list. And to really sweeten their relationship with the local charities.
Either once a month or once every three months.
They could donate a 45 or X inch, state of the art TV set to the charity. And let them raffle it off to their members. The charity keeps 100% of the revenue generated over the actual hard cost.
And every charity member who enters the raffle. They also receive an extremely time sensitive gift certificate. From you and or your major competitor’s store.
Entrepreneur, “how’s” that for at least inexpensively testing, some potentially profitable, creative marketing strategies & tactics?
