Ladies & gentlemen while you may not fully appreciate it now. But it really is a good thing. You and I and practically every profit seeking entrepreneur currently in business. (Anywhere in the world mine you.)
All of us to some degree or another have so called hidden assets and or resources. It’s just a matter of quickly “discovering” what they are. And then strategically testing and tweaking them. In order to systematically start generating maximum effectiveness. Don’t you agree? So let’s have a closer look at a few all too common situations.
After all, the sooner you discover at least some of you previously hidden assets and or resources. The sooner you can start systematically monetizing them, agreed?
Entrepreneur It’s Not A Question Of If You Have Any So Called Dead Or Greatly Under Utilized Assets And Or Resources! (It’s More A Matter Of How Soon Can You Discover What They Are And Start Monetizing Them!
Just to get your creative marketing juices flowing. Consider the following all too common situation. For just a moment put yourself on the receiving end of this type of drastically under utilized marketing strategy.
It’s been at least ten weeks since you last scheduled an appointment to see you. Take your pick. 1.) Local hair dresser. 2.) Local nail salon. 3.) Local tarot card reader.
(Entrepreneur “what” the heck do you mean. You didn’t know or realize the top 1-3% of successful tarot card readers strategically use a combination of pre- written opt in email message alerts in order to systematically stay in contact with their VIP customers and prospects.
Along with periodic unscheduled “broadcast” messages. To let their subscribers and any friends, colleagues, neighbors and or besties they’re ethically bribed to drag along with them.
Can be alerted to whatever extremely time sensitive offers they may have or whatever it is they wish to make their subscribers aware of.
Just Because Your Potentially Profitable Assets Or Resources Are Temporarily Hidden To You! (Doesn’t Mean Other Non Directly Competing Vendors Can’t See Them! And Don’t Have A practical Plan To Systematically Monetize Them!)
Case in point. Let’s say this particular local tarot card reader is definitely part of the top 3 or X% in her immediate area. And she has the opt in email list of 2,743 subscribers to prove it. And she’s full time. And finally ready to upgrade her commercial suite.
And move into a much nice commercial space. Which from both a long term branding and marketing stand point. Makes her services appear even more appealing to her ideal target audience.
Rather than spend a fortune in either one of the major local papers or local throwaway guides proudly announcing her brand new location. Or worst yet.
Or temporarily placing a sign in the window until the space is re-rented. Letting the passerby’s know they’ve relocated.
Instead he or she simply send a series of previously unscheduled “broadcast” email messages to their list Alerting them to the fact they either in the process of moving. Or they’ve already moved. (Remember, your “broadcast” email messages are most effective.
When you’re making your subscribers aware of an extremely time sensitive offer or event. Like a sale, webinar or extremely time sensitive cross promotion etc.)
So How Do You Start To Monetize These So Called Previously Hidden Assets And Or Resources?
Excellent question. And so glad you finally asked entrepreneur. Consider a local, single location, non franchised retail appliance store owner. For you (or them) one of your so called hidden assets is your ability to help other non directly competing vendors inexpensively re-activate either currently in-active customers.
Or help them further monetize their current customer base. For example. You could have your local non franchised bakery owner send one or a series of previously non scheduled “broadcast” email messages to their list of opt in email subscribers.
Alerting them to the fact. For the next 72 hours (three days) or X number of days only. Between the hours of 6:00 am until 2 pm in the afternoon. Every customer who spends at least five or X amount of dollars.
They automatically get one free Xtra large beverage of their choice. Which is typically an X dollar value.(In reality behind the scenes you or your major local retail appliance store competitor simply pays the actual hard cost of the Xtra large “Big Gulp” beverage back to the bakery owner(s.)
And in return. They give each of their customers who participate in this particular promotion. A sealed envelop. And written on the outside of the envelop. In big, bold red letters.
Large enough music legend “Stevie Wonder” couldn’t miss. It reads “You definitely deserve this!”
Curiosity May Have Killed The Cat! (But It Also Helped Some Extremely Marketing savvy Entrepreneurs Make a Ton Of Money!)
You know it will definitely take less than two Nano seconds for the envelop to be ripped open, correct? Inside are (to begin with anyway!) two extremely time sensitive, market tested offers from other local, non directly competing vendors.
1.) Extremely time sensitive offer # one: A market tested offer from the bakery or vendor promoting the specific offer.
2.) Extremely time sensitive offer #two: An extremely time sensitive offer from the retail appliance store owner. Which definitely includes some type of free drawing power opt in email list building offer.
And for every lead who upgrades and becomes a paying customer (aka)targeted referral generated from the bakery or local company or local service X.
You or your major competitors gladly pay them $50 dollars. And the moment they generate 15 or X number of first time customers. (Regardless of “how” much they initially spend on their very first purchase.)
As soon they they generate their 16th first time customer. They automatically earn at least double or $100 dollars per lead converted to first time customer. Entrepreneur are you starting to better appreciate the long term profit generating potential of these so called hidden assets and or resources? I sincerely hope so.
