By now you’ve heard the stats about for every dollar you or some hypothetical business owner invests in email marketing campaigns. You can expect a (ROI) Return on Investment of $32 – $44 dollars.
But here’s the thing entrepreneur. If you’re literally just getting started with any type of income generating email campaigns. And you’ve never formally written any type of email marketing campaigns of any kind. It’s simply not realistic to expect those types of returns.
Unless or until you get your feet wet. And have had an ongoing chance to consistently do some strategic A/B split testing. Monitoring, tweaking adjusting accordingly.
The further along you go. Then you’re starting to be in a realistic position to appreciate the seven basic types of email marketing campaigns, which can potentially make you or your major competitors front end money. Without the typical outrageous front end expenses.
Believe It Or Not Your Strategic Email Marketing Campaigns Can Do A Lot In Terms Of Consistently Generating Front Or Back End revenue!
Case in point. Here are a bare bones minimum of seven proven email marketing campaigns which can potentially make you or your major competitors a lot more money. Without the typical front end expenses.
1.) First: Entrepreneur as soon as or right after you generate a new opt in email subscriber. And as soon as their confirm their subscription request by clicking the “confirmation” link in the email they received.
Your very first email message(s) to them should be some type of “welcome” email message or series of welcoming email messages. The main reasoning and purposes behind your “welcome” email campaign series is to set the tone. And set some realistic expectations.
And typically these email messages are pre -written by you or outsourced. And simply loading into your paid autoresponder of choice. So they systematically go out automatically over the first few days after you subscribers subscribe
2.) Second: Another potentially profitable email campaign is what’s often referred to as “transactional” emails. And sadly a staggering 95-97% of aspiring entrepreneurs who are savvy enough to consistently utilize email marketing campaigns in the first place.
They all but neglect or ignore the potential long term money making potential of so called transactional email.
Say for instance, even though they’re primarily used to send receipts. Or to send password re-sets or specific shipping notifications. Or order confirmations etc.
While typically these messages or alerts are between customers or clients etc. There’s no written law which says somewhere in these messages, you can’t or shouldn’t occasionally A/B split test offering different extremely time sensitive relevant products, services or JV (Joint Venture) trial offers etc.
After all, your customers or subscribers already know, like and trust you. (Just don’t blatantly abuse it.)
Strategic Email Marketing Definitely Has It’s Place! (No Matter What Your ROI Is!)
3.) Third: Your “nurture” email series is pretty much the workhorse of all of your various -strategic- email campaigns. Because it’s primary goal is to keep both your current and future customers and subscribers systematically moving through your various funnel or primary funnel.
And unlike a series of direct snail mail postcards or direct snail mail letters. a proven nurturing email marketing campaign can literally deliver bankable results in days if not hours. (And they’re also designed to consistently generate long term results.)
And do so at an incredibly affordable front end cost. And when you or your major competitors strategically form mutually beneficial JV’s with other local, non directly competing vendors. Where they periodically send some of your best market tested email message offers to both their employees and vendors.
Entrepreneur it’s not if you’ll earn more money. It’s how much you’ll earn.
4.) Fourth: Your various types promotional emails are pretty much self explanatory. You or your major competitors make both your current customers or subscribers aware of any extremely time sensitive offers you have. And these extremely time sensitive may be promoting a sales event. A webinar or a physical event you may be planning on having.

If You Haven’t Been Strategically Using Any Of These Types Of Proven Email Marketing Campaigns! (Entrepreneur Make It Your Business To Start!)
5.) Five: Good ole previously unscheduled “broadcast” email messages of some kind. Let’s say you’re an appliance retailer. And you’d like to make both your current customers and subscribers aware of a special closed door event.
And send them to a special sales page which isn’t displayed on your state of the art blog or ecommerce site.
6.) Six: Another strategic use of your various email marketing campaigns is to implement some type of market tested, “shopping cart abandonment” email messages. Because believe or not. Shopping cart abandonment is and always has been an ongoing problem and concern for online marketers who use shopping carts.
According to the most recent stats from various online retailers. Typically a staggering 77% of online visitors, (especially first time online visitors) who place at least one item in a retailers shopping cart. For any number of reasons they won’t complete their purchase.
And leave your site and on average typically 99% of them aren’t coming back. So unless you’re strategically building your email subscribers list. The money or effort used to drive this visitors to your site are all but wasted.
7.) Seven: “Launch Email” messages are another proven way to alert your subscribers and customer about any new products, services or announcement of grand openings of new locations. Or some of your top JV partners grand openings etc.
These bare bones minimum of seven potentially profitable, single or series of email messages. They’re the types of email marketing campaigns which definitely help you consistently earn more money. Don’t you agree?
