How And Why Being An Island Is Not The Most Effective Business Expansion Strategy!

Are you really serious, about consistently growing your business and or service? That’s definitely good to hear.

However, here’s the flip side. If your current or future business expansion strategy, only or primarily involves, relying solely on your current financial assets and or resources.

Guess what? From a business standpoint, you are the equivalent of an island.Huh? That’s correct?

Meaning, you’re simply too far or too detached, from other potential resources and or assets, which, once you strategically connect.

And or make your business or service, or various tangible or non tangible resources readily available, to other, non directly competing vendors.

Your business or services, will not only continue to struggle.

But you will definitely find it difficult at best, to reach your business or service-s, true earning capacity. And your extremely limited financial resources or assets, will constantly be maxed to the limit.

And your business or service-s finances will constantly be teetering on the brink. And your mental and emotional stability, will constantly fluctuate, as wildly as the Dow Jones Industrial Average, on one of it’s most volatile days.

Ask any semi cash strapped small business owner(s) and or service provider, if the aforementioned scenario, sounds all too frighteningly familiar.

If You’re Going To Insist On Being An Island You’re Definitely Stacking The Deck Against You!

Like me, let’s suppose, you’re sincerely interested, in growing your target audience, as quickly as you can, inexpensively and hassle free as possible, right? No doubt.

And let’s further state, recently, through no fault of your own, one of your more active social media accounts, has been temporarily shut down.Bummer right? For sure.

So now, when you create some of your problem solving content, you either temporarily and or permanently, have one less proven marketing/promotional outlet to share it on, correct?

And obviously, going forward, since you decided to be or become an island. This particular situation doesn’t exactly help propel your business or service forward, right? Not exactly.

However, what if, one or several of your main, non directly competing collaboration partners, just happens to have, an extremely impressive (DA) Domain Authority.

Plus, an extremely pro-active social media marketing presence. Like my bud Olivia Andres, the editor over  at radar.io fame.

Or maybe your collaboration partners, are experts in the financial services marketing industry, like my collaboration partner Catherine Diaz of modelfa.com fame.

(They specialize in helping financial industry professionals expertly and consistently scale their practices, for a fraction of the traditional upfront cost or hassle.)

Just like radar.io, the charting experts also have an extremely pro-active social media presence. Meaning, our collaboration partnership, is mutually beneficial for both of us.Would you not agree?

You Can’t Expect To Scale Your Business Or Service To It’s Maximum Capacity Based Solely Off Your Own Efforts And Or Your Semi Limited Resources And Or Assets!

Even though this is just the tip of the collaboration possibility iceberg. Hopefully, it’s opened or is opening your marketing eyes, to what’s definitely possible, for you and I. Would you not agree?

Granted. It’s not a good idea, not to try and constantly develop, your own resources and or assets. The main point of this particular blog post.Is to try and demonstrate to you. While or even before you start trying to build your own resources.

You can and definitely should, start strategically tapping into and leveraging, the not fully maximized assets and or resources, both tangible and intangible assets or resources.

Of other, non directly competing vendors. Case in point. Please checkout the screen shot image just below. The link and image, is from a recent guest blog post I did, for my bud Jasmine Hewitt of lovelifelaughmotherhood.com fame.

Jasmine has a totally fabulous Mommy blog. But guess what? Some of these Mommies, aspire to be work at home, on or offline entrepreneurs. And or Mom-preneurs.

And my guest blog post, demonstrated one particular way, they can do so.

Just in case, it’s not not crystal clear. Both Jasmine and I, also follow each other on twitter. From there, we started our private conversations in the “message” section. And from there, I’m now receiving additional free exposure, on her extremely high ranking mommy theme based blog, which primarily targets the many issues, involving mother and parenthood etc.

And there’s a very good chance, at least 99% (or more!) of her steadily growing audience, had absolutely no idea whatsoever, who I was, prior to reading my guest blog post!

But now, they may not only initially visit my blog. But the odds are dramatically increased, of them returning and possibly joining my opt in email list.
