(Which Definitely Don’t Require You To Be Or Become A So Called Marketing Guru Of Any Kind!)
So given the real choice entrepreneur. Would you rather attempt to keep writing bigger and bigger checks for you paid ad campaigns? or keep attempting to scale your paid ad campaigns while you simultaneously “discover” how to leverage some of your previously untapped creative marketing ideas?
For the record there’s absolutely nothing more or non productive about using paid ad campaigns. But please be aware of some of the all too common potential pitfalls and totally unexpected challenges that await you. Such as your ad campaigns suddenly without any prior notice being temporarily or permanently shutdown.
And if all you’ve done to that point was painstakingly build your social media following on whichever particular platform(s) your ideal prospects constantly hangout on. And both your social media accounts along with paid ad accounts are no longer active. And you’ve haven’t bothered to build your own opt in email address.
The $64,000 dollar burning question is. Where does this leave you? My guess is in a not so good place. Don’t you agree?
Entrepreneur You’d Be More Than Amazed What You Can Accomplish Via Some Basic Marketing Concepts!
For your long term marketing potential purposes. The types of creative marketing ideas or concepts you’re going to at least inexpensively test.
They primarily involve strategically leveraging, (or seriously attempting to do so!) The assets, resources, contacts or current or future connections you and I get direct or indirect access to.
And creatively looking past “what’s” already pretty obvious. And seeing or inexpensively exploring “if” it’s worth it to try nd maximize other closely related, (yet previously untapped!) marketing possibilities.
Case in point. The following hypothetical marketing examples are for conceptual illustration purposes only. Let’s say you have a rather small local, non franchised moving company.
Similar to the nationally recognized UHaul brand. Of course they constantly pull out all of the stops. Because their weekly or monthly, traditional advertising budget is a gazillion times larger than yours, correct?
All the more reasons for your creative marketing ideas strategies and tactics need to be as fully customized (as best you possibly can entrepreneur!) To insure they ultimately and consistently generate maximum profits.
This Is How And Why Tunnel Vision As It Applies To Your Marketing Strategies And Tactics! (Can Either Work For Or Against You!)
So a customer rents one of your trucks for the day. While your truck is clean. And you provide them with X amount of gas. What do they see when they open the back of your truck, in order to start loading their stuff in?
My guess is other than completely blank walls. Not much else, correct? Entrepreneur “what’s” completely wrong with this picture? “why” not inexpensive test the following headline and offer.
Of course you or someone in your major competitors business will need to successfully negotiate this potential JV (Joint Venture) revenue sharing arrangement ahead of time.
Anyway. (Getting back to our exciting adventure.) Now there’s a rather large, market tested sign, in print large enough music legend Stevie Wonder couldn’t miss.
Which reads “Want Direct Access To Some Affordable High End Furniture Fast?” Or something to that affect. And it not only lists a local number to call or text.
But also includes a special (key coded) extension to number to include. This way your JV partner knows which specific main power headline is consistently generating the best front end response.
Ladies & gentlemen “if” you or your major competitors only did that. After you’ve A/B split tested it against other potential main power headlines. You’re going to start consistently generating additional revenue for your JV partner.
And a revenue share percentage of X for your business as well.
But Wait There’s More!
The non franchised, local retail furniture concern can also return the favor as well. Say what? Because as each local calls or sends them a text to inquire about the offer.
Their return reply will include an extremely time sensitive offer. Where the locals can enter the furniture concerns monthly or quarterly free drawing. Simply by joining their opt in email list.
And once every month or quarter. Someone wins a $5,000 or X dollar living room suite makeover. In reality these are simply closeout or discontinued living room furniture.
But rather than just dramatically lower the cost in order to move the remaining inventory asap. Instead they use the retail price of $5,000-$7,500 dollars or X.
And The Best Part Is! (You’re Just Getting Started!)
Even though 9truth told!) your actual heard cost is half or less. This enticing offer helps the retail furniture concern build at least two potentially valuable lists.
1.) Potentially profitable list A: First, they create huge floor signs throughout their store promoting their monthly or quarterly free drawings. This way they’re constantly building their own opt i list from a percentage of their daily foot traffic.
And now the furniture business can periodically send extremely time sensitive email alerts to their constantly growing in store list.
Making them aware of any extremely time sensitive offers your truck rental business is currently offering. Which means you or your major competitors systematically generate new business for literally pennies on the dollar. (“How” often do you think your major competitors accomplish that?)
2.) And potentially profitable list B: They’re also simultaneously building a separate, yet similar list of locals from you or your major competitors truck rental business.
