How to get really great testimonials.

 (Especially If Your Brand New And Just Starting Out And You Haven’t Exactly Become A Household Name Yet!)

Who couldn’t use a ton of really great testimonials? Especially if you generated them for literally pennies on the dollar, and you generated them by capitalizing on current untapped opportunities.

Let’s face it, people are overly skeptical these days about practically everything, and if you, your business, product or service is totally brand new, then my friend, you’ve got some extremely hard (not to mention) time consuming ice breaking to do.

Would you not agree? In fact picture this scenario, it’s an extremely dark night, and as your driving your car (alone) on a street with extremely bad lighting and no visible sign of people anywhere, as you pass by a rather dark drive way leading into an alley, (suddenly) an unfamiliar voice cries out, for help!

Keep in mind, you can’t see a thing, but the cries for help are steadily becoming louder and louder. Even though the good Samaritan part of you wants to stop and see exactly what’s going on, the practical side of you warns (and rightfully so) that you’re probably better off simply calling 911 or just continuing on your way.

While that rather creepy (and slightly) over the top dramatization goes a bit far, this is the exact same type of natural skepticism that your potential new customer and or client has regarding any new product and or service, including yours.

As much as your new prospect would love to be added to your (hopefully) ever growing list of happy new customers, they simply can’t get past their naturally built in skepticism.

And rather than you simply starting from scratch, and fighting through a ton of other noisy (not to mention) overly pitchy entrepreneurs, all trying to build all important bank account filling credibility, you can simply creatively (and rather inexpensively) leverage several in place rarely tapped opportunities and get to results up to 25% faster than at least 85% of your well meaning competitors.

Introducing Three Incredibly Simple Ways To Generate Some Really Great Testimonials!

The real beauty of creating some of those long term bank account filling testimonials is, you generate (or create) them once, and they simply pay you for years and years to come.

They never go out of style, they never call in sick, they never go on strike or ask you for a raise.

As opposed to, you constantly depleting your limited cash resources and spending a ton of money for expensive on or offline advertising strategies that hopefully lead to new customers and other long term money making opportunities etc.

The following three non techie battlefield tested marketing strategies, for generating great testimonials, will work for your business, product or service, whether your looking to increase your online profits, or your traditional offline profits as well..

1.) Strategy # one: If you have any type of service where you or some of your valued associates can offer (long or short term) back end consulting of any kind.

For ex; you might offer a free 15- 30 minute one on one power consultation as part of  one of your marketing strategies, let’s say you run a free drawing, and your grand prize winner “wins’ a free 60-90 minute one on one power consultation valued at X.

You can do two things as part of your all important follow up process.

A.) You follow up (either) by inexpensive email and or relatively inexpensive follow up post card snail mail and give all your runners up, 25% off a 30 minute consultation.

B.) Plus, you’ll give them an additional 30 minutes free for an all important (bank account ) filling testimonial, simply for describing three specific benefits they gained from you as a direct result of their consultation with you and or one of your top associates.

2.) Strategy # two: The next way you can start proactively leveraging what your doing currently, is to offer the first X amount of people that give you a power testimonial specifically describing at least one specific benefit that they got as a direct result of attending a free or paid workshop and or seminar that you or one of your valued associates spoke at.

Again, you might inexpensively test offering (either) a free 15-60 one on one power consultaion vs offering them one of your best market tested free DVD’s and or CD or MP3 recordings in exchange for their long term money making testimonial.

3.) Strategy # three: And finally, if you have a blog (and if you don’t currently have one) you should seriously consider looking into learning the ABC’s of building a state of the art WordPress blog, and letting the one and only Don Campbell be your tour guide.

You might run a contest, where you offer the top ten (or X number of visitors) that leave a positive (testimonial) comment  in your blogs comment section (again) you’ll offer them some valuable free ‘how to’  problem solving goodie that helps them solve one of their problems.

You give away the free bonus(es) once, but every new subsequent visitor from now on, sees all of this positive feedback.

So as you can clearly see, three previously untapped (long term) marketing opportunities for you to create some really great testimonials for pennies on the dollar.
